Still find it odd why people would work up to 2 hours away for minimum wage. with the amount Thorpe are taking in these busy periods they really shouldn’t have staffing issues. I just wonder how many people go in peak and just say never again it was too crowded. That’s a customer potentially lost for life.

Perhaps the universal route is required then of removing the pre show and having one long conga line fashion. Yes there’s not 8 attractions but 3 mazes seems like a major cutback from the 2010s era…… Also I don’t care if the park has staffing issues I don’t know how they get away with closing at 9pm

Seeing some people defending half term will always be busy. At what point will Thorpe take action and improve guest experience whilst perhaps upping the prices or adding more attractions

I’m confused why is everyone surprised at how fast it’s being put up. They have been working on the foundations for months, isn’t it now just a jigsaw puzzle of nuts and bolts and surely with a crane that size you want the job done as quickly as possible to keep costs down.

Myself and @Marc did it a few years back, we managed to get round everything and saved a lot of time buying fast track for the hayride only, so perhaps that’s the best way to save some time but still get around everything.

The sad day when you are too tall to ever experience the parks extreme Halloween attractions. in all seriousness though this is the innovative route that I would have loved to seen Thorpe park take over the years and it clearly pulls in the crowds…. However instead thorpe went the family route…..

Here’s how I see it going 2024 will see a golden logo to match hyperia and then in 25 perhaps we get something completely new but hopefully sticking with the colour scheme we see today. I think Thorpes always going to have a vision problem but I think fright nights is a good indication of what they want to be a family friendly park with thrills for the older kids / adrenaline junkies. As family is where the money is at. FN is an excellent example, we’ve gone from freaks and creepy characters roaming the park in a tense atmosphere to dance parties and cheesy American high school themes so that the kids in push chairs can still be entertained before the dark and scary hour of 9pm…..

Remove truckers and bring back the action man adventure course. Perhaps also a barbie collab ?!?

Really excited of the new logo launch. This will be the icing on the cake for silkstones crew ownership of thorpe park!

Will vikings parts by upcycled for rumba. I’m all for sustainability and recycling it is 2023 after all!

Feel a bit salty tbh that they did this launch at a press event. Imagine if they had planned a day, got all the enthusiasts together and gave it the launch it deserved.

Unpopular opinion but I wish Thorpe had some sort of embargo on enthusiast reviews / cameras in mazes say till Saturday so others can get the true spoiler free experience. For me there really was something magical in not knowing what was behind the doors of the asylum or curse because they hadn’t been documented to death. I think Thorpe have one goal with the inviting of z listers, yes they may post about it however the stock photos used for articles across the year with the Thorpe park logo is much more valuable.

Ofc but you’ll have all actors on shift giving it their all. whereas when I go through Thorpe will have actor staffing issues among other things

Yay the press night so we can all hear that the event is the best it’s ever been then go ourselves hand over £50 and find out it’s utter rubbish

Wouldn’t cost a lot though to rip it all out put some chain link fences in and strobe it all out and then bring back what fright nights was known for….. I would love an anniversary year, when is the next one, whereby we got: Asylum Curse Ex10 Cabin - maybe reimagined with the black mirror theme Actors in animal masks - minus the movie theme Big top Some nod to creek perhaps just a scare zone or a walk down by the still accessible part of monks walk. And some sorta freak show or scary show which isn’t a dance party to top it all off. For me fright nights became boring when it opened the doors to a family audience and the MAP group used it as childcare for a few extra hours in the evening…. You really shouldn’t see prams at this event that’s what Chessingtons for. I was watching Jacks video the other day where he remember the 2013 event I want to say and oh man do I miss those days. Dance parties just don’t do it for me neither do entertainers pretending to be freaks. Get the real thing or don’t bother.
