Didn't it have an On ride camera back in the day, if I'm correct after soaking you with water the camera would scan the gondola?

I tend to sit on the right hand side and don't notice the jolt, but when I sit on the left its always worse. Where possible I try to sit at the front, but when sitting on the back left this for me and this may be different for others but is one way to get whiplash

Sometimes you get a large jolt, other times you don't, has anyone narrowed it down to maybe some trains or certain seats or if the weather or time of the day (Morning or afternoon) makes any difference?

I have to say I think Chessington is upping their game and making lost of improvements, I'm very concerned over the theming for Dragon Falls and RMT, but where they have done work, they have made lots of improvements and it works for their target audience. I hope they get Zufari sorted as I'm reading lots of negative comments on it. The number one question is how long will the Safari Skyway last... its got to be on its last legs now

Well X... hmmm Went this evening, everything in the park had 5 min queues or less so we decided to do X. This was the biggest mistake and I will not be repeating this again. we waited outside in the cold for 15 mins, then we were let in. I was impressed with the lighting in the corridor the new speakers were great. Then we got to the ramp, and waited and waited, then moved slowly then waited and waited, 25 mins later I got to the baggage drop. By this time I had waited so long my blood was boiling. I entered the building all optimistic and I had not even put my bag in I had waited sooooo long that all I wanted to do was get out, but I was stuck inside with screaming teenagers. I spoke to the baggage attendant and asked why the throughput of the ride was so poor, I was told: "We only have two of the four trains as the others are still in the Nederlands" If I had known this, I would not have queued for 45 mins..... At this point it didn't matter what they had done to X I didn't want to go on it and I wasn't going to enjoy it. After leaving X I managed to get Stealth in twice, Swarm Twice and Saw in just 30 mins.... Not an effective use of time, hence my frustration and anger Now I have had time to calm down... The place looks nicer with a good paint job The speakers as you walk down are the right volume and create a good atmosphere, but only half the corridor had been fitted out with speakers, so when you get to the end of the corridor where it zig zags and the poor lighting is, there is no sound Still the signs needs updating Good to see the old TVs and Power plant which didn't work removed All new new LEDs look fantastic Going forwards, didn't really improve the ride experience IMO The 1M height restriction is fantastic for younger ones The cars are comfortable and the new lap bars work ok The smoke totally works The central light column looks good Love the lasers too Music works Music should have been louder IMO The lights need a little work some of the effects are wow, others are disapointing Strobe lighting might be a good addition There are moments where there isn't much music Now there is light inside you see the supports and just how tight the ride is, so you get a few near misses The brake sections, brake section 1 worked well, the second brake section where it went back then stopped, this jolted us badly, it would be better is the ride just stopped rather than trying to go backwards then forwards In Summary: I would not queue more than 10 mins for this, it is good to get out of the rain, there has been an improvement, but not enough to make me wanna go back on in every visit. For a low investment year and for a ride which has been badly neglected, they have done a good job. Quote from somebody else collecting their bag "Its just like the flying fish, but in a nightclub."

We need to name and shame the people who are making these decisions to ruin any decent theming we have.

I am very impressed with Jumbos and we liked the Vampire's Burger Kitchen. TBH all the improvements they are doing are great, people may not like them as it may not be to their taste, but I'm very impressed with the level of investment. They were painting up Mexicana today and it looks great. There doesn't see to be much happening with the RMT today. The man in Adventure Services said the RMT will not be available until June!

I hear the Vortex music going today

Went into Burger King today, a complete disaster, 3 members or staff trying to serve us, had to pay twice for two meals due to staff not knowing how to operate the till, both meals had to go back due to getting the order wrong and I'm sure I was not charged the correct price. First and last time I go in there this year, bring on the Burger Kitchen PLEASE!

We didn't need passes for the back rows, I check with Guest services if these were needed and they said they were not. But the signage states you need a ticket which is very confusing. did the front and back rows 9/10 for Front (would be 10 if the fire ever went off when I was on the ride), back 5/10, done it once won't do it again.

I do wonder if the Tomb Blaster fall incident has anything to do with this and they are re-doing all the fencing on all of their rides to prevent anything like this ever happening again. I'd be interested to see if John Wardley had anything to do with this as he designed it all originally.

I read that too and I thought it was going to be poor, but I went in with an opened mind and I have to say if they had a Burger kitchen on the high street I would use it. If anything its good to know we have an alternative to Pizza Pasta which we love. But until you have tried it you can't really comment. Also hearing free tea and coffee after 3PM with a MAP is an extra bonus too.

I hope the Burger Kitchen comes to Thorpe, had a fantastic meal at Alton this week, in my opinion they have mastered it and it is just as good as the high street chains.

Looks like everyone is off to Thorpe this weekend

Just makes me want to avoid the ride with them almost forcing you to get Fastrack and the queue it will cause. The Swarm is the ride I go on the least, I have more rides on Vortex than the Swarm.

Still need to ride Depth Charge, hopefully I will get to ride it, I always look at the queue and don't bother
