A Piraten clone with the most comfortable seats like ever is a win win for me !
-
When I saw this on the new topics section I thought it was an entire thread to Grand National at BPB... Just shows who little I think of horse racing hahaha.
-
:O :O Why can't Inferno be that god damn lush all the time!!
-
I'd hardly consider the coasters as world class because half of Colossus is just the same element over and over again and swarms layout is a little short and uninspiring personally compared to layouts like Raptor and FDD IMO, but yeah Rush and Slammer are world class flats
-
Tbh, a hyper coaster doesn't need to be tall to be considered world class, all the intamin megalite clones are widely considered some of the best rides on the planet and that translates on the mitch hawker polls, also B&M have made smaller hypers like, Goliath in La Ronde and Apollo's chariot in BGW, both under 200ft both considered world class rides. So height with hypers, isn't everything, all merlin need to do is create a great layout it can be considered thorpe's first world class ride (because lets face it, there are none at the park at the moment).

I swear this is the most action this Saw thread has had in blummin ages! Well done guys haha

You never know although a flat ride would be great.
-
I think so, the price that the owner wanted was stupid that is why Pleasurewood Hills bid for it fell through.
-
ooooh I thought he was there on a week day lol I would have been right if that was the case :P
-
Its about 10.29 rides an hour as I think opening was 10am til 5pm so that is 7 hours, 72 divided by 7 is 10.29 (2dp) I is a nerd haha

The play area is going in Neverland I think, and with the dive event there was one last year so I highly doubt that is the very exciting thing for summer... Plus they wouldn't call a dive show a very exciting summer addition in my opinion.
-
Yeah I agree as it is quite a largish area it is on and will probably take time to do what they want to do with it but I'm fine waiting, it was 8 years in waiting for Neverland haha
-
Fingers crossed Tbh I would like a flat whether family or extreme, the last new one was Tinks Flying School (formerly Plane Crazy)
-
The teacups is supposidly either going in neverland or going in a disused building part of Wild West that used to be a cinema thing. NOT where Brer used to be.

New statement from Oakwood...Look at the bold text... THEME PARK APPOINTS HEAD OF MARKETING Oakwood Theme Park has appointed a new head of marketing as part of its ongoing investment programme. Graduate Clare Stansfield has more than a decade’s experience as a marketer across a wide range of businesses. She moved to Tenby in 2012 and has a two-year-old son, who is delighted with his mummy’s new role. “I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to head up Oakwood’s marketing team,” said Clare. “Oakwood experienced a significant increase in visitor numbers last year and I am really looking forward to building upon that success. “The park invested £4.5 million in its new Neverland area and this year we have more major investment that will see the creation of a new soft play area, a children’s ride, a whole new themed restaurant and something very exciting planned for the summer!” she added. The Pembrokeshire park enjoyed its busiest season in more than a decade last year following the opening of the Peter Pan-themed Neverland. As a result visitor numbers were 40 per cent up on the previous year and bosses are keen to continue growing the business. Park Director Dominic Jones said: “Clare’s appointment and the ongoing development of our marketing department alongside the investment in the visitor experience is a clear indication of our growing ambitions. “Our aim is to continue to grow, expand and improve the theme park and welcome more visitors. “Pembrokeshire is an amazing place to visit and our job is to work alongside other attractions, accommodation providers and tourism bodies to ensure we are showcasing what this region has to offer. “With Clare’s help we plan to further raise our profile and establish ourselves as a must-visit attraction,” he added. The park, which re-opens to the public on April 11th, is also planning to continue developing its close links to the local community. Set in 80 acres of spectacular countryside Oakwood is Wales’ biggest family adventure with more than 30 exhilarating rides and amazing experiences to discover. A unique combination of attractions includes world-class roller, tower and sky coasters, spectacular family rides, children’s themed play areas and so much more. The children's ride is The teacups seen in various images otherwise what would be the point of even having them there and the new restaurant will be nice! The exciting thing for the summer... Let the speculation begin!!!

I'm guessing that ride wasn't popular then... So I'm also guessing they will be putting a ride there, something that blends in well with mystery castle.
-
not as in the idea and story, more where its set (abandoned factory) and the set it self as well as the props that aren't traps, the rest is original.
-
I think a few have said about it not having enough dark bits but then they only have limited space so that is the best they can do, its a good type of best though
-
Saw is generic, most horror films are generic, generic props, generic set, its a generic horror theme but for what it is, it is good even if the actual ride is a total son of a biatch!
-
Better 1080p quality version of chiapas
-
An actually properly decent video of this ride, say what you want but the airtime hill is just nom!
-
Come on, isn't it a bit obvious it is april fools? don't know why this has made a discussion lol Thorpe were advertising that thorpe park is now the first park in the world where dogs can ride. Both are obviously fake but still some people were gulliable enough lol

Isn't jigsaws secret hideout a warehouse hence why the building is themed to be a warehouse. To me it is essentially what you see in the film but a little smaller. You say that it is generic themeing but then Saw's building is a generic horror set so it is not like I was expecting the taj mahal of uniqueness in there.
