Well I wouldn't say nicest looking park (The towers across the lake is the most beautiful IMO), but it definately isn't tacky inside, outside on the seafront on the other hand....

Extension of the existing Tayto Park facility on a site of approximately 18.1ha to include: a New Vehicular Entrance to Tayto Park from the R155; a new Roundabout Junction on the R155 at Robinson's Cross Roads and associated works to the public road including localised road realignment, street lighting, drainage and landscaping; an Entrance Arch feature; an Internal Access Road incorporating a Vehicular Bridge and a separate Pedestrian Bridge of the River Hurley; and a new Car Parking Area to provide a total of 1,917 no. car parking to serve the entire facility. The development also provides for construction of Complementary Visitor Facilities and Attractions within the extended area to include a 2 storey Admissions Building (1,396sqm) incorporating entrance hall, administration, ancillary retail and toilets; a Wooden Rollercoaster with a ride length of 1,081m, an overall plan area of 1.38ha and a maximum height above ground level of 33.3m, and all ancillary plant and development works to include a Station Platform (157.5sqm), a Storage/Maintenance Shed (157sqm); a Control Room (22sqm); a Motor House (22sqm) and an associated Retail Outlet (15sqm); an indoor "Dark Ride" attraction which is completely enclosed within a Hall (548sqm) with an overall height of 13.25sqm; an "Air Race" attraction with a maximum height of 12.8m; and a Toilet Block (76sqm). Associated and ancillary site development works including 3 no. Surface Water Attenuation Ponds; Pumping Station with Emergency Storage Tank, Supplementary Foul Water Storage Tank; Acoustic Barrier (at entrance from R155); Site Services; Landscaping; Boundary Treatments; Lighting and Walkways throughout the extension area. An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) has been submitted to the Planning Authority in respect of this planning application Woodie, air race and a dark ride, submitted! Tayto park are really going full board on this one!!!!

I do agree with that, and the general consensus of skyrush is most like it so thats progress, I suppose everyone saw the B&M product and thought that was a better model, although they will eventually die out like stand ups.

I got that point what I'm trying to say is that, it doesn't deserve that moniker when there are much worse rides out there, like space mountain, I hate it with a passion, but that is really with most sit down vekoma's, you like it, I'm sure benin will agree its not the worst but it is a very, very crappy ride bar launch.

I thought the ride you hated most was tornado, so FB doesnt hold that title plus if you hate it so much, why did you go on it a few times late last year?

Tbh its fine as it is, there isn't anything wrong with it and I hardly think they will install the trains with speakers when they only were refurbed last year there would be no point at all.

That happened to me in July on the last ride of the day 1 laser on, no lights just thumping music in complete darkness!!! Bliss it was!

Tbh nobody is ever going to will the battle of whether FB is rubbish or fabulous, I know an equal amount of people who love and hate the thing and both parties cant understand why the other thinks that. Its just going to keep going on and on. I do love the look of the launch though.

Yes I agree but then there is a lot of trees for felling and tbh I don't think they'd be able to cut that many trees unless there was a purpose of something of actually felling them.

Yeah when I went on Saturday I'm not joking there was tonnes of red/orange spots on trees so if it's tree felling it is pretty sustancial, hopefully its something to do with SW8 but then to be dotting trees this early would be surprising! Also what I liked is that most of the dots were situated around the gloomy wood so it would be nice for something to be added to that area!

It was such a good little ride originally and now they are going to ruin it with cheap, tacky themeing that we probably do better on. We will probably have 2 cactus, a plastic scorpion and a bit of foliage. Merlin stop ruining things!

The park have confirmed that the vests won't lock in place and will move freely so there is potential for hangtime, obviously there will be no airtime cos there isn't anywhere it would get airtime lol
