  1. I won't need that. I mentioned in my post that I have 50% off hotels as a LEGOLAND staff member.
  2. (Yes...ANOTHER Green Day song coming. You can probably tell that it's turning out to be my favourite band ) This song is just amazing in every way. Whenever I hear it, a wave of calm just passes through...
  3. Believe me I am still hoping to get my hands on one! *curses H&M for not doing a full range of colours* 10/10 for the use of a Pixar classic.
  4. Thought this would be the best thread to plug this. My family are planning on spending a few days at Alton Towers in the first couple of weeks of the summer holidays (My parents never thought of doing this until I started work at LEGOLAND - given that I have 50% discount off Merlin hotels). So for the past couple of days, I've been on the website to look at the accomodation and their prices. When I looked yesterday, these were the rankings of expenses (1 = Expensive/3 = Cheapest): 1. Enchanted Village 2. Alton Towers Hotel 3. Splash Landings Hotel ...but when I looked today, they had changed! 1. Alton Towers Hotel 2. Enchanted Village 3. Splash Landings Hotel I was happy to see that Splash Landings had remained the cheapest, but are hotel prices changing every day, or do they stand according to the date of arrival (as I was browsing through possible dates of when we would possibly go)? Some help would be appreciated.
  5. Alton Towers have just announced the 'Big Six Challenge': http://www.altontowers.com/things-to-do/events/big-six-challenge Commencing in May, this "challenge" simply invites guests to ride The Smiler, Nemesis, Oblivion, Air, Rita and TH13TEEN in one day. Of course, the only challenge I can see here is surviving the queues!
  6. Err...the next World Cup isn't til 2018?
  7. If this does happen, hopefully it won't just follow the EXACT events of the game, but add in some other action WB possibly have in mind. Maybe also this movie can drift across the three games! For example: The film's first 5-15 minutes depict the events of Five Nights at Freddy's 2, eventually leading up to the disappearance and murder of the five children. The film then cuts 5 years later to the setting of the first game. This can possibly start with the aftermath of the "Bite of '87" with news reports flying around about the incident, including Fazbear Entertainment's announcement to "close Freddy Fazbear's Pizza by year's end". This is where Mike Schmidt (possibly the film's main character) makes his first appearance. From this point, the film follows the events of the first game (eg. Mike having to go through the night with the animatronics constantly trying to enter his office, sparking a lot of tension and/or jumpscares). Obviously the third game will follow after this. However, I'm not too sure how I think it'll fit in. I'm not even sure if in the third game Mike Schmidt OR Jeremy Fitzgerald (from FNaF 2) are still around or if you're actually playing as one of these characters, but we can only hope that if this film really happens, the finished result will be something amazing.
  8. This is probably the wrong thread for this...but this just happened: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/video-game-five-nights-at-787061
  9. Okay we need to play this simple: 1. Stop speculating 2. Wait for the official announcement 3. Pray to God that this dark ride will be a GROUNDBREAKER
  10. Banned for having exactly 1300 posts!
  11. Well there ARE family rides with dark themes out there! Revenge of the Mummy for instance.
  12. It can have similar effects if you look at other rides... Please Thorpe build a wooden coaster!
  13. I take it you haven't even been on Spiderman or Transformers? Or even Revenge of the Mummy which is the closest to a SFX Coaster I've ever ridden in my life...
  14. Band wars, huh? Okay, Little Miss 'I-Listen-To-Bantille'!
  15. The Matt Must Be Banned

    Video Games.

I've just played Five Nights at Freddy's for the first time and completed Night 1. But something tells me I may not last long, as at those first chimes of it turning to 6am, my heart was just pounding out of my chest! (I have only Bonnie to thank for that for hanging around outside my door at the last minute!)
  17. Banned because I'm playing it right now!
  18. Banned because clearly the THORPELAW demanded the silence of this thread for two months!
  19. I forfeit my go to anyone. Who's it gonna be?
  20. Shame on me for saying this; 2 is the lie - but I got home from work late last night, so I wouldn't have had time to play it anyway!* 1. Yes I was a proud and perfect prefect () in Year 11. I have a Smiler bear as evidence! (considering he's wearing my badge) 3. SAW for me is the perfect combination of dark ride (sort of) and intense coaster experience! Queueing atmosphere packs a punch too! * I promise to anyone reading this - I WILL play the game tonight. Lights out, headphones in and all!
  21. Only just realised it's my turn 1. I was a prefect in Year 11 2. I (finally) played Five Nights at Freddy's for a while last night 3. I prefer SAW to any other Thorpe ride (bar Inferno)
  22. M&Ms. Brighter colours, better taste. American candy all the way. SeaNanners or Markiplier?
  23. It'll never be a s forceful as Inferno though! I've lost count on how many times I've come off with pins and needles in my feet...
