Aha! That seems possible! However I think quantum could run on 2 staff members and rush could maybe run with 2 staff members aswell? If chessington can run black buccaneer and monkey swinger on 1 member of staff(although it makes operations extremely slow) I'm sure thorpe can run rush and quantum on 2 staff members

Shame really, may stay for a while longer just to chill on the beach and have a couple more rides on detonator as I have a feeling it won't be too busy. I really think they should have put a bit more of an effort to open a couple more, they could have easily opened up depth charge and X aswell!

Am hoping to go on Tuesday and Wednesday next week and am wondering if its worth staying the extra 2 hours for the rides- if anyone gets down before then please can you let me know as if there aren't any of the big rides open I won't bother staying the later hours. I was/am hoping this will be like summer nights- the park really needs longer hours anyway so it would be nice if they could at least open up some of the big rides. Not sure if they will do this though however I am hoping they will add in stealth and the swarm to the line up

Thorpe really seem to be upping their game this year! Just wondering, is this for every day in August or selected ones? I know it excludes summer nights but I am hoping to visit next week and was wondering if I will be able to stay on later?

Would never pay that much to ride! If I can remember it was £6 at winter wonderland so I am definately not interested in paying more

That looks like you have to queue longer to get the fastrack than to get on the rides!

We were in the queue for nemmy inferno and they needed to add a train(not sure if taking off is quicker), the queue was stationary for about 30 mins while they added the train on! Was really slow and made our wait time 80 mins long!

I think Monday will be reasonably busy but no where near as busy as the 16th,17th and 18th. Most schools have broken up by now and a lot of people are going on holiday. I can't see the 22nd being too busy to be honest, however I may be wrong. My guess is 40-60 minute queues for most of the day with a ride going up to a maximum of 90 towards the middle of the day!

At the end of the day(normal day) there are no queues at all and most of the rides are going round half empty(nemesis inferno, Colossus etc.) and they are all on two train op. But wouldn't it just be an effort to take off the trains especially as that takes a whole and it would mean people may have to wait a long time to get on because the transfer track takes a long time to move. My guess is e rides will remain on 2 trains.

The dome is only allowed to be open until 11pm anyway so if they closed the rides at 11pm no one would get out on time. I think 3 hours exclusive riding is more than enough if they only let about 1000 people in and are on 2 train op(which they should be because the day time will have been busy and the coasters will have been on 2 trains).

Hmmmm, I visited warwick castle a couple of days ago and we had the exact same problem.All of the stations around the grounds were closed except for a couple of the outdoor food stalls. However half of them had faulty machines as the gas wasn't working and the others had massive lines as people were buying food etc. aswell!

Does speed wave come included in the wristband or do you have to pay extra?

To be fair guys, if it is true that there will be no queuing I think 16-20 pounds is a reasonable price. With no queueing you can definately get on quite a few rides wouldn't mind going down myself for a few rides!

I have an option of visiting thorpe park from the 8th-19th and I was wondering which day would be emptiest- I understand due to school trips the days are likely to be busy but which will be emptiest? P.S a note to those visiting during school trip season- although the days are really busy the beginning and end are empty as the school trips have left (:

Getting soaked is the best part of the ride!

I doubt chessie will get another thrill ride probably just a kiddie one...

The ride wasn't actually unavalible though- and it was displaying 90 mins earlier in the day when the queue was 5 mins!
