  1. It's annual pass day. Everyone got in for free. Not much room to complain. No where near the complaints they would get on a normal day.
  2. The lack of work in that area at feb doesn't support the idea. No matter how much I wish it was true.
  3. Are they fools? If people still pay it and it doesn't generate complaints then really it was a sensible move. However £60 does strike me as the point where people just won't bother.
  4. Service just doesn't seem the right word. I'd say 1 train operation but it's not like it matters. Its just how people say things. As for not enough time to strip the trains. That is a complete lie. Yeah they are complex, but if they wanted to they could have had full capacity going. Not that it was needed. Other parks manage it as does Thorpe. Just because they are running 1 train does not mean the other isn't ready.
  5. I've been looking at Disney and the cedar fair parks and I haven't come across a price that is higher. How much do they charge?
  6. Is there any park that charges more for 1 day than Thorpe are?
  7. They didn't have enough staff for 2 trains. They would have needed another staff member to be on offloading. I don't think they really needed a 2nd train on. After all as Thorpe once told me not running the second trains saves the environment.
  8. Thorpe I thought had an issue of people thought it was expensive. I don't think trying to charge £60 on the day is going to help. Regardless of if people get discounts its still the fact that it seems like they were trying to charge you £60.
  9. Have you tried turning your eyes on and off again
  10. It's blue and black end of. Your eyes are broken if you see it differentlY and you can trust me on this as I'm partially colour blind.
  11. They are popular at other resorts around the world. I don't see the attraction myself and doubt I will using it. It does just seem that you will get wet when getting to your room.
  12. Saw has a minimum operation temperature of 5 degrees. This is because any lower and there is a high chance of stalling. The smiler will also have a high minimum operating temperature because it's prone to stalling. Rita is closed because of its location and the fact it is a lot of work to get it ready. Stealth is ready as it has rolling mantanice, Rita does not have this.
  13. The effects are definitely operational. On Sunday in the swarms hour of testing the fire effect was working, I cant say much about the mist but I imagine that was as well.
  14. I don't think the furniture in there is staying. Its just the table and chairs from the outside bit of pizza hut. If it is staying then it would be very odd, I don't get why you would invest in a new building, new decorations and then not get new tables or chairs.
  15. Really? I thought it was like 4 or 5. Ha I was there for 5+ hours and I didn't notice.
  16. I don't think Thorpe park can see the event as popular. It was good fun but I doubt it got the number of people they were expecting. The number of annual pass holders (most seemed to be premium) there today compared to the number of normal guests was incredible. I doubt Thorpe made much money today. Other days I cant speak for but it was very quiet today. Ill try and reduce the extreme statements which should hopefully reduce my hypocritical nature. However it doesn't need a load of people arguing with me to do that. A simple private message would have done.
  17. How many people have actually been to Thorpe's Pizza Pasta? The plates are very small, its not exactly a major problem but if Thorpe want suggestions on it. Someone sharing their suggestion on a forum about the park I don't think needs the person to be interrogated.
  18. I don't mean to troll and I don't feel I moan about every point. Everything I put at the time I believe in, however I often realise that somethings I have said are stupid. I don't come on here to cause arguments, if people can not deal with opposing opinions then I don't see how a forum can work.
  19. I'm not entirely sure but I do believe that the stealth playlist has had some songs added to it.
  20. I know, but opinions change. Those posts were prior the knowldge of what this event was like. I still stand by that charging £5 for a Feb half term event like all the other half term events is outrageous. However this event turned out to not be like the others. It was basically a 6 hour summer nights (not by intention). I would also say that merlin dont value their customers. I did stick to what I said, I visited to ride stealth. Say what you like, as stated earlier I dont care. I enjoyed my day and I dont see why I have to justify it to you lot.
  21. The plates are not that much of an issue, yeah it's an annoyance and may be more of a problem at peak. However it's not like it's going to negatively affect your day.
  22. Oh there were many people who were against it, so of course I'm the only one ranted at for it. I fully expected this response, however to go and say my posts are meaningless. I listen to all your opinions regardless of if I agree or not. Clearly what I say I believe in otherwise I wouldn't waste my time.
  23. I never said anyone had to listen to my rants. I would say all of my rants I believe in, just maybe not as much as it sometimes comes across.
  24. Pizza hut used to do garlic bread. The plates are excessively small, I can see where the ccomplaints come from however it wasn't that much of an issue. My problem with it is the way the place seems so empty. I think it's the current furniture. Overall I wasn't impressed, much preferred pizza hut.
  25. Towards the end of the season I do care that that they can't get it right. It's annoying that a park of such status in the UK gets it wrong and then people start defending it. I just find it really irritating.
