Stealth
Stealth was very efficient today, so efficient that the crew broke the through put record.

The Swarm
Swarm was the best ive seen it in a while today. Not because of how it was running but the fact they got rid of the backwards queue and made everyone queue together and make their choice in the station. The queue was moving much faster and and was generally more pleasant knowing people in a shorter queue were not changing their minds.

Colossus
Bad day for Colossus. It was running very slow this morning and took ages to load then at about 10:30 it broke down for a good 5 hours. Came back to life for an hour then died again and stayed closed.

Slammer
I do expect it to open some time soonish, but I don't think Thorpe will be keeping it much longer

Slammer
Entire area was cornered off today and didn't move once.there were no people working on it or staff around it. Its not looking too good for slammer.

Slammer
they have removed the dummies which is a bit odd, I would assume if they were testing it, they would want the weight of people on it.

Family Inverted B&M Happy Valley Shanghai
Despite the trains looking really cool I imagine that track doesn't come cheap compared to some other manufacturers.

THORPE PARK Resort @THORPEPARK 2m We’ve had @StephenMulhern and some #BGT legends visiting today. Watch the show on Sunday to see what they got up to! http://ow.ly/I/5FxJI Someone is lying. We already had an argument about this a week ago.

Ok then formula rossa. Also the Ohio average summer is about 85 degrees which is roughly 30 degrees Celsius. As that's an average its going to get hotter than that unlike the UK's average of 20 degrees Celsius.

Your Thorpe Park
My Thorpe park would see X removed along with loggers leap, slammer, rumba rapids and of course storm surge. Where X once was I would change into a proper dark ride for family. In the place of loggers leap I would have an intamin blitz along with a wooden coaster running along behind burger king with a turning point around the intamin blitz. Where the rumba rapids was I would open up so there ease of acess to the island behind stealth and have a mack mega. light and to compensate for the lack of a water ride I would add some sort of log flume near stealth.

Next Big Thing - 2016 Development ?
Coasters are planned in advanced by a few years. It is likely that a manufacture has been chosen but depending on how far they are with the manufacture it could change. If it was 2 years to then I would imagine the manufacture is locked in however if the ride is delayed until 2017 there is still room to change manufacture but it would be too late to change the entire ride.

Stealth
When I said it was operating in manual mode I assumed it was obvious that the launch wasn't manual. As for the cold how come stealth was operating last march because it was definitely running with 2 trains with normal intervals. Was something else the cause for that like a ride team were taking a few risks? The heat thing I was unaware of but raises questions in who designed a thing that a British summer can stop its operation. TTD can operate in far hotter conditions, oh well typical British roller coaster being inferior to its american counter parts.

Stealth
Stealth operates fine in the cold, I've been there at -2 degrees in the snow and it was working fine (admittedly nothing else was). The heat it can struggle with as the hydraulic fluid is less dense but it very rarely gets that hot. Kingda ka and TTD will operate in temperatures way above 23 degrees. Most likely the problem with slow loading was new staff which are being trained for summer and therefore may have been running on manual mode. The problem with stealth last year around June was that one of the injectors on one of the cylinders was faulty so the ride couldn't recharge in time.

Next Big Thing - 2016 Development ?
An intamin blitz like maverick would be an amazing investment. It covers all of the stuff that Thorpe is lacking and can stay relatively low so the locals don't complain. Correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe that it would be the Uks first multiple launch coaster.

Alton Towers Trip Reports
Rita would have been on one train because of a fault with either the train or the launch system. If the launch system cant return in time then its easier and safer to run one train. That was the reason stealth was on one train operation for about 3 weeks last year so I imagine it was a similar case.

Slammer
I am aware there not the most reliable source, hence why I said I got it from there.

When do you think rides will go?
I don't see the life of slammer being to long and I would say a maximum of 5 years. By 2025 all of the coaster space will be gone so large rides will start leaving around then. Vortex needs some work as that is coming to the end of its life. But I doubt we will say many rides leave before 2018.

Slammer
Apparently slammer is ready to open. Only problem is that there is no evac producers so there reluctant to open it. (according to towertimes anyway)

MTDP
Another point is I'm quite sure there is already a ride in Japan which does almost exactly what you have described.

Six Flags Great America
Why not make it out of steel. Track is steel, most of the supports are steel. I hardly see how this is a hybrid when most of it is not wood. But to call it a wooden coaster is just dam right lying.

2014 Season
The advert as a whole is much more cleaner and well rounded compared to their previous ones and its also nice to see that they have extended stealth to 500ft in the last week.
