3 things that annoy me at the moment 1. Stupid little one direction fans who think its funny to tweet to my idol telling him to end his life and stuff like that. that is a major no no. Grow up and get off the internet. 2. (This is more ongoing) people who try to pull down automatic safety bars when they know it will close by its self. Like stop! 3. People who think its funny to make jokes of peoples deaths. Like no. Someone has lost their child, their best friend, their partner, their grandchild. Its not clever RANT OVER sorry if it was depressing (the second one is more silly haha!) but needed to get it off my chest!

Rides that turned up today are Gladiator and a few others!

To be honest I highly doubt that it will do badly. When I was at adventure island there were tons of people going on the rides in the pouring rain! So a water ride in the cold wont do much harm haha! Also the owners of the ride might be providing ponchos!

I have awesome news! There will be a travelling river rapids at winter wonderland this year! Personally I am very excited by this! Gladiator will be returning and thank goodness will not be attending hong kong!

Ah the avalanche waltzer may not be going this year! As there is a winter wonderland in cambridge this year and thurstons will be the leaseholder for the fair so their rides will be going! We dont know as yet which event avalanche will be attending!

Power Tower 2 of course! Mannings showtime, mannings tornado. All of mannings rides will be going of courss unless they get sold in the mean time which is highly unlikely!

Why not turn the area where X is into like a Party land or a ministry of sound/clubland area and they could have a Huss Booster indoors and you have powerful spotlights on during boarding and then once the safety bars are checked the music starts and the ride lights turn on and off you go! Could be good as small kids 5 and upwards are able to ride since they'd be at 1.2 meters! I know its a flat but its a cool idea! I really want it to be a decent ghost train. We don't have enough decent ghost trains in the UK!

Also the VIP night wristband is for press, celebrites etc. only if you know one of the press or celebs or one of the ride crew thats the only way to get a VIP wristband

Sadly I'm planning on going to Liseberg and PortAventura next year so cannot join you! But who ever does go have fun!

Hello all! As you know I am a huge fan of the adventure island theme park after visiting in october so as such I am planning to have my birthday party there(my birthday is in jan 2015 so I will have the party in the feb 2015 half term when the park opens!) if it is allowed for an 18 year old to have one of the birthday parties I will be having one of them and for 10 people it comes to £220! If not it will just be a day on the park! If you are intrested then let me know!

I found this! It's a different version of mckamey manor but is not torture! Its still quite intense but only lasts 10-15 minutes and has a safe word so if it gets too much you can stop straight away! What is Adventure Island's take on filming onride? Do they allow you if they check your phone or camera is very secure and cant fall out your hand/or off you

James a wii remote wrist strap with a lock on is really good if you have a nintendo wii! Thats what I use and it works well! if you buy any handheld gaming console accessories pack you get a wrist strap with a lock on and they are only usually a fiver If you check the strap just before you ride make sure the ride host can see it and they will maybe check it(like they did on my air race video in may) and they will let you do it!

I'm hyped about this! I'd love to see it be a haunted attraction/ghost train type ride! Thorpe is lacking in haunted type rides with the only one being SAW: Alive but that does not class as a HAUNTED ride due to SAW being a gore franchise other than a haunted/ghost franchise! Cant wait to see how this turns out!

Watch the video of the mario and luigi marine people. They had to be pulled out after 20 MINUTES. and they said that marine boot camp is easier than going through the manor...... :/

At the end of the tour if you go through all of it you get to become an actor. There are a ton of discussion forums about the manor talking about how it could actually be a MK Ultra experiment because most people who are actors and russ himself are ex miltary or are still in it. So damm creepy. Tons of people around the world are calling the FBI and San Diego Police due to this. If its still running next october I will be shocked.

I agree with the things about not all celebs being bad at theme parks. When sam callahan was at adventure island he queued up to get a wristband then he queued up with the rest of us on Rage and Claw which is decent because some x factor people can be really cocky

This is why I hate America haha. I mean come on the Japanese are world renowned for horror but they know when to stop. I get scared at most things haunted but I would rather do the horror hosptial at Fuji Q where I know my mind will be ok, there wont be a chance of me becoming ill or mentally unstable. This is horrible.

Am I the only one who thinks the "cobwebs" on hocus pocus hall look terrible? They dont look like cobwebs!

(Sorry for posting a lot on this topic I'm just really curious about it and how safe it REALLY is) what about if someone who is in top mental health state before the manor then ends up being messed up by the maze afterwards? It could happen! :/

Would it be best to have it earlier on in december as towards the end of december it gets PACKED! So packed you cant move and it becomes unenjoyable

People who say "oh why wait a theme park when you can go to a fair and not wait at all for a ride" two reasons the experience at a theme park is amazing. When I went to adventure island I was treated with respect and the staff kept trying to make a conversation and they were having a chat with all the guests!. Theme parks have such a great atmosphere you can have a good bit of banter with the staff if it is quiet and it is a good slow paced day out! And number 2 you do still have to wait at a fair if its busy! I waited at least 10 minutes for rock rage at milton keynes last year! I love funfairs I really do but theme parks are the best. rant OVER!
