  1. In previous shows they have done challenges when you have to look around a room for stars? Not really keen on the stuff falling but it will be funny I guess! Cattlepen queue though....
  2. Wait and see, we may be suprised! There's quite a bit of space around that number display.
  3. Wherever they place it, please place it on the east side of the park! In terms of major "family thrill" rides, it only has the Stinger and Wave Runner. When the west side has Cobra, Edge, Magma, Raging River and the smaller Flying Frog. In terms of the ride selection, the park has grown dramtically in the past 6 years! I first went back in 2008 when the Sky Swinger was new and I thought the park was good then! Since then they've added Edge & Water Kingdom (2009), Peppa Pig World (2011), Magma (2012), 4D (2013) and the Carousel this year! No wonder why it's voted the best family park in the UK!
  4. Does Professor Blast = launch coaster? Lab = Indoor launch coaster? This is very interesting as the only main indoor attraction the park has is the 4D cinema!
  5. Does anyone have a rough idea of how busy it will be towards the mid/end of September? Its past the school holidays and a couple of weeks before Scare Fest?
  6. Went to the park the other week, the guy selling tickets (friends had 2for1) said you would be suprised by the amount of people who actually buy normal tickets on the day! When they can pay 3 pound extra for a season ticket!
  7. I just don't see why the locals object of it! Legoland dealt with the noise complaints from Jungle Coaster, putting roofs on the cars and later removing it! Why can't they think "they took down the noisy Jungle Coaster, let them build it!". Plus it's indoors there would be no noise complaints!
  8. Went to the pier just under a week ago now. Unlimited wristband for 15 pound is fantastic value considering we were there for about 4 hours. Must of waited half hour for the booster but deffo worth it as they leave you up the top with fantastic views whilst the other riders get off. Got stuck on Air Race too for about 10 minutes. The operator said there was something wrong with a sensor which allows the cars to lock in place to allow the bars to rise. Probably due to the fact that the sun was beaming down on the ride!
  9. Does anyone have any blueprints or pictures of the track layout? Could imagine it living on for 2 more years as WWH before being rethemed as a laser attraction!
  10. So there's no "two for so much" deals?
  11. Does anyone know how much photos are this year? I assume the photo pass has gone up (typical merlin) and how much are the combos?
  12. Am I the only one who thinks that the Dragon needs a bit of TLC? Use to love this ride when I was younger, all the effects seemed magical, but now it has seemed to rot to pieces. None of the effects work anymore (which explains why most the lights are switched off) except from the dragons tail before the lift! Its just all this work they've put into Pirate Falls (which looks fantastic) and Laser Raiders is maintained well. Why not the Dragon??
  13. Am I the only person who thinks that some of the boats on Tidal Wave should be covered like at Duinrell in Holland? I'm sure it would be popular as the British Weather is always changing. I don't know how many boats there is in total, but 2/4 could be covered. So on a hot day 2/3 boats can be uncovered, on a hot day 2/3 boats could be covered. You could use the part of the unused queue next to the fastrack entrance for a second queue line and you can keep the queue divided "normal" and "dry"!
  14. A high capacity ride like this only has two trains running? Come on Chessie! Baring in mind on one of the trains a lot of lasers are broken and maybe they don't want to run them to "disappoint" younger guests!
  15. Well there's the part of the car park which is currently being used by the Shark Hotel/ disabled guests which is to the left of the entrance.
  16. Well with the parks new image, hopefully this ride has a bit of tlc which is needed! I don't mind the purple/ green colour scheme, it's just the way the park have let it rot away!
  17. It's more worth it when they do the unlimited band offer, sometimes it's even £5! (Usually £20 I think) They could replace the Turbo, it's become a lot more turbulent since they removed the lap bars and left the shoulder harness. Would like to see a small Eurofighter like Iron Shark at Galvestone Pier. Even though it would probably cost £8 to ride!
  18. To be honest, Lost City is a lot better than it was when the area was first created. The shrubbery is great and would be a big mistake if it was all cut back. Think Colossus's area needs a tidy up however.
  19. Don't really rely on the mobile app, said Tidal Wave's queue was 110 minutes when the ride entrance one was switched off. The ride was walk on?!?!?!
  20. Just watched a video on YouTube of the park in 1997. Showed a bit of Thunder River, the cave which the tunnel replaced looked fantastic! Allot of mist, reminded me of Inferno's tunnel.
  21. The mist literally changed the ride experience! I remember last summer, the pre lift tunnel tool your breath away with the lights and all the mist. You couldent see where you were going, like to see this all year even fright nights when they just turn the lights off *sigh*.
  22. That waterfall was fantastic along with the water squarts on the way to the tunnel! Don't forget the shower near the end too, things like this made the ride along with the affects in the tunnel. They were seen but not working, then covered with lights which don't seem to be on this season. Such a shame to see this ride rot away!
  23. Pretty good Thorpe (y) That Amity F+C looks like one of them portable homes

So is the new bag drop in that small room by the exit? Always thought it would have a use and can't wait for ORP!! Just need a refurbished station area now, get rid of the old lifts there just in the way and pointless/ tacky!
  25. I have noticed thought that they have slightly coped better with throughput throughout the year. Telling people to remain seated untill the other boat entered from unloading. People just used to get up as soon as it entered which meant that only one boat would be unloaded at a time instead from two.
