  1. It was back open today, with the water.
  2. In my opinion, Vampire gets it just right. Its fast enough that kids will feel brave and get a proper thrill. But not too fast that it becomes intense. The ride is still really popular with teens as well though. Its short blast of speed in the tunnel make it cater really well for everyone! <3 Vampire!
  3. ^ I don't know about it closing in the rain (probably what you said), but I know it closed during a storm due to the amount of static energy in the air, apparently the hydraulic launch system doesn't like it.
  4. Yes, they seemed to have improved operations massively this year. I just wish they'd stop holding guests outside the building, and only opening one exit...
  5. Well, I don't know about a Wooden Coaster... Unless Merlin's marketing directors suddenly get god-like powers, we won't see a new Wooden Coaster at any of Merlin's UK parks.
  6. A 'Haunted House' style ride wouldn't work in the village are of Transylvania, that area is supposed to feel light and happy. After that archway next to Vampire Bites is where it becomes scary, in the Black Forest.
  7. Gone down again now, maybe because of the rain storm?
  8. Now that scares me! What sort of thing d'you mean?
  9. They were using the full queue yesterday.
  10. If it's a nice day, people will want to stay, and if they are able to stay, they are more likely to recommend the park to other people. It would have been odd to throw away all that money. People are also more likely to buy merchandise now that they have more time. It improves guest experience staying open later, making the day more memorable.
  11. How would that work? The air gates are on the other side...
  12. Yes, the Abdabs are totally ruined now. But I believe some of the Professor Burp props still reside above the Mexican Cantina.
  13. It will turn up eventually. Just keep searching for Call to Adventure - Scorpion Remix and it'll come up eventually.
  14. What frustrates me most about the Thorpe Shark is that they have the nuts to call it a hotel! It's a small room that leads straight into the open air. It doesn't even have internal corridors, its own decent restaurant, a shop, an attached reception, or anything else to do other than sleeping or visiting the park.
  15. They don't and Disney don't. If a refurb is needed, a refurb will happen.
  16. Well... err... that's a bit, small. Can't they at least add a facade to the containers to maybe hide them?! At first I was against this, then I was excited when I saw the Shark plans, now I know what it looks like, I'm dissapointed. Just about sums up every Merlin project really.
  17. Oh, Black Buccaneer's new music is bloody brilliant!
  18. How would 15 people limit make a difference? There was 39 on when it broke down in June,
  19. They are not allowed to keep a train on lift two for more than ten seconds, this relies on quick dispatches.
  20. The operations for the ride would need to improve massively for them to actually be allowed to run all three. It's part of Merlin's new safety policy.
  21. According to ThemeUK, the third train is back and in the process of testing!
