Anyone watched the new episode of American Horror Story? I personally thought it was great, back to the gory and weird panning shots. Lady Gaga is brilliant (never doubted her anyway #trufan) and the soundtrack and references to horror films were great too. This is the catchy song during *that* scene if you've seen the first episode. (Just like the rest of the seasons though I have no clue what is going on. )

Nothing wrong with that? Going by some pictures uploaded, the makeup skills have definitely gotten better on roaming actors! I can't take any horror based thing seriously if it's awful, white faces and black eyes in studio 13 last year... Also worth noting that Contianment was closed even though I thought it would have been open for the press event, wonder if it'll be open tomorrow?
Reviews I've heard so far haven't been that positive, nice to hear Saw is better this year though. Cabin sounded like it was super foggy, wonder if that'll be kept up throughout the weeks.
Merch? I am pleased. Didn't they only have the lanyard last year? I need more...

I don't think anything is illegal in this (as it's America but not sure) but I think we all expect it to be due to us being empathetic? Watching that video of the girl when they forced her to eat a baby chick foetus and watched her hair get cut and be submerged in water is just... Horrible. The people who sign up for it are continuously asked if they really want to do it and are warned about what goes on in there (even from the actors), they just agree to it! I'll pass on this one

Ah, the dreaded dry ski-slope. Pretty sure I went head first down one of these and nearly skidded off into some wooden planks Keeping the skiing theme, I went skiing for the second time last year. Forgot how to stop myself and tumbled down a red run, whacking into my skiis as they fell off and I nearly fell off a good 20 foot drop/off a cliff. I was snow plough-ing for the rest of the day...

Try to enjoy yourself! I'm sure you'll find it fun. Don't force yourself to do anything you don't want to do either, they're made to make you scared but if you're not comfortable that's fine! I know I definitely wouldn't have done the mazes a few years ago looking forward to see how you find them all.

Just found the picture they posted last year, it's on their Facebook timeline. The merman would be brilliant, I remember when we did BTS they spoke about the different costumes for CITW. They said things like the werewolf costume etc were too risky for actors to wear for long periods of time which is why they try and reduce it to only using face makeup and masks. Fornicus and sugarplum fairy seem like the two easy ones to go for as what they apply can pretty much be used on any actor without many changes. Thaf elevator scene was really iconic in the film, would love to see them play around with the other monsters, we can only hope!
