  1. How much longer is it and I'm willing to bet the quality is very low.

Samurai needs to be either be replaced or removed tbh. It seems to be unable to operate for a few weeks with out closing down and needing lots of maintenance. It still remains to be my favourite flat on park, even though I haven't ridden it in two years! Hopefully they can get it working for the summer and then for the rest of the season. 3. Sounds like a pretty bad day for operations today :/
  4. For God's sake, Samurai is my favourite flat on park and it's never ever open. I don't see why they don't just remove it or replace it seeing as its only open for a few days per season [emoji19]Back on subject however, the rest of the holidays should be busy ish.
  5. That's a good thing; should be fairly quiet then [emoji106]
  6. How busy do you reckon the park will be on April 11th? It is a Monday but I know that for a lot of people it's still the holidays. Hoping that nothing will be over 45-50 minutes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I need to one day somehow ride this coaster. It looks amazing, not too slow at all. As for a drop element, that would be great [emoji108] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Finally! I have been waiting for forever to download this! While the ride had received mixed reviews, I'm sure the majority of sane people can say this soundtrack is amazing!
  9. This kinda reminds me of when the Scarefest mazes had a recommended 14+ limit, and then mere days before Scarefest launched the age was upped to 15 and anyone under who had booked were forced to refund their ticket (I luckily made it in) Alton seem to have a thing for advertising one rule and then a few days later changing it without notice... 10. Or if there is a small risk that it could fall off, remove it from the pouch until the train returns to the station.
  11. Are they out of their minds!? Many people want to ride Galictica just as a Rollercoaster, and not with a headset on, so they decide to make it compulsory to wear it!! Also, many people aren't comfortable with experiencing VR, and would just want to ride the ride like it used to be. But no, let's make it compulsory to wear the headset. I think that Alton deserves one big round of applause for this move [emoji1376][emoji19] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Loving the soundtrack so far. Imascore never fails to impress! As for a soft opening, I doubt they'd do one because, as Josh said, the huge train thing is still sat outside the building, however it would be nice to have an unannounced and very little publicised soft opening to get timings right, etc.
  13. Going to need to visit sooner than I thought! That Ghost Train mug just needs to be bought [emoji4][emoji317]
  14. Thorpe f***ed up very badly today; to have nearly 2000 tickets sell out before the time they were meant to go on sale is appalling. There's going to be a hell of a lot of very angry people on social media. Well done Thorpe [emoji849][emoji88]
  15. Why would they advertise it at 10 and start it earlier!? Seems like a very very stupid plan, and people aren't going to be happy about it. Luckily I have an annual pass, but to those who didn't were counting on this deal to get tickets.
  16. I believe it is, yes.
  17. Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if it is! It's a way to get more money and more awareness of the ride.
  18. Sorry for the terrible quality, it's from Thorpe's sc. A nice few pictures of DBGT merch tho. I spy a mug in one of these, may have to make a purchase [emoji317][emoji317] EDIT: And a few more pics EDIT 2: Sorry another edit but Thorpe posted this on Instagram with another load of images
  19. I'm pretty much certain that the unfenced section leading up to the shop will be part of the q line and therefore more accessible. If not then yes, a very odd location to place it.
  20. They could have at least attempted to cover it up, but instead they let it be; it does look absolutely dreadful! Why couldn't they have spent a little more on making the building attractive from all angles you view it from, and not just half the angles.
  21. The truth is out. All this time we've been so blind. The evidence was right in front of us! [emoji33][emoji317]
  22. Well at least they can move it if need be... But in all seriousness, it's just a painted shipping container. At least Alton themed it with Gloomy Wood! Thorpe is becoming an industrial estate..
  23. And then hopefully Storm Turd.
  24. To be honest, I don't really agree with any of it. I just mentioned whales because they have stopped breeding them along with the shows being cancelled. I don't have many major problems with animals being placed into captivity, I'm just not keen on the idea of it
  25. Even though Blackfish is false, I personally feel that whales should be allowed to swim free in the wild and not be kept in captivity for entertainment purposes. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Sea World and the Shamu show was amazing. I'm not an animal activist or anything like that I just feel against the idea of forcing a whale into performing tricks, etc. This is my personal opinion however, so you can all moan and groan about "how Sea World is meant to be" [emoji854][emoji854][emoji854]
