  1. I doubt it. We'll lose as per usual. Honestly if you saw us play at them moment you'd agree. We lack passion, spirit, ambition, communication, solidity, goals and a decent manager.

    Good luck for then.

  2. Hmm this seems very odd. An old, stale IP with probably no appeal to anyone under 15.

Having said that, I'm a big fan of the original, and I think that the actual Wickerman himself is a rather impressive structure so if they can build it I'd be very impressed! (Could it be the possible themed structure mentioned above the flume's station?!)

    It's so beautiful :wub::

  3. My family are self confessed quiz nerds. We watch University Challenge and Only Connect every Monday.

For years I have been waiting for a roller coaster question In either of these shows and yesterday was the day - on Only Connect there was a roller coaster question. They genuinely had a roller coaster question. I practically jumped off my sofa with excitement at seeing 'The Swarm' and 'Nemesis' written on my sh*tty Panasonic TV.

I don't know why but I get really excited at seeing Roller Coasters in the media (only for positive reasons). I think so many people see roller coasters as just big funfair rides and take them for granted. So when I see a mention of them it'd almost as if people are recognising it as a serious industry.

I'm a simple soul but even so, this made me rather happy.

Why's that? Not saying youre wrong as it's your opinion obviously but it'd be interesting to hear why?

It's the spinning patterns. Sometimes it doesn't spin at all whereas others it spins uncontrollably - I know this is due to weight. However, I like some sections to have less spinning so that you face one direction and others to spin a lot. It's this variety that I want from spinners (Although I've only been on 3 times so I'm no one to judge).

As for Rattlesnake: I'm a big fan of Wild Mouses. I don't really know why though as they are rough. I guess it's those lateral Gs and little pops of airtime that appeal.

To me, part of riding a roller coaster is riding with friends. The best ride I've ever had on a coaster was on Inferno when it was walk on and I was with my best friends - it then became more of an experience than a ride, as we were laughing uncontrollably throughout. (Sorry for sidetrack but bare with me). Every time I've been on Fury I was single rider so I never got to share my experience . I assume this is a Huge part of me preferring Rattlesnake as I rode that with friends.

Hm, well that's ironic. You bring negativity into every thread, that's the point of what I first said, but its clear it's annoying for other people so I'll leave it at that.

Well I have to say, I personally find your constant nitpicking at Jamie more annoying than his negativity.

Stop trying to find floors with his posts and start contributing to the topic!

After lots of thinking, I'm now not actually sure that Nemesis Inferno was my first ride. I now think it was Tidal Wave - God knows what I was thinking when I sat on it all those years ago - then again, a 10 year old's mind is an unpredictable thing!

Official launch trailer has landed and without a doubt it literally completes the general look of the game perfectly! Having purchased the game last night while it was still in Beta (and assumedly at a cheap price), I honestly can't wait to get started with it once I've upgraded my system.

Note the Baron 1898 and Blue Fire recreations in there also. ;)

And I saw a cheeky bit of Silvarret at the start!

He is an incredible creator. His woodie called Mjölnir is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen in a long time - and it's not finished yet. The amount of detail is incredible and his rock work and terraforming is amazing:

  7. I'm still questioning the flats I'll do at WW - the cost means that I don't want to do many so I think I shall choose them carefully.

I think I'll do 2/3 out of xxl, ski jump, air and turbine. Not sure which ones to do yet though.

If anyone's been in previous years, what were your favourite flats and what would you recommend for me to do?
