But not on CD please! Who even owns one of those anymore
I don't want to jump to conclusions (which I undoubtedly am by posting this) but it really does seem like Thorpe getting a new provisional director has started getting the park into shape a bit. New Soundtracks, additional theming (to partition areas) and what appears to be a more stable approach to marketing!

Must admit, it looks better than I was expecting:
There's something nice about seeing a new GCI just fly around the track!
-
Really? Not this again.

Episode 4 is now up:
Hmmm ,'Volatus 2'!

I didn't know where to post this (Galactica?, The Smiler?, 2017 topic?)
Either way, Alton Towers posted this on Twitter yesterday evening:

Muy interesante!

Goodness, those carriages are beautiful. They move with such grace! I've also got to mention the soundtrack - which is as enchanting as it gets.
Kudos to Efteling for this series - it really is fab. (Actually, kudos to Efteling's media team in general. The short film made before Baron 1898 was one of the best things I've seen on YouTube.)

Courtesy of The Theme Park Geek on Twitter. Of course, take the map with a pinch of salt but at least it's an indication.

All the rumours point towards project V being called (something along the lines of) 'Voletarium'.
There's a leaked logo and Micheal Mack posted a picture of an original model last year with a cheeky hint. If you zoom in you can just about see Voletarium written through the main archway.
If this is the name then I'm a fan. Sounds enchanting, grand and (dare I say) hi-brow!

So here's the question then... say you go to the park the ride is down but they have this VR thing to enjoy. Do you still get the credit?
No, absolutely, no.

Can't wait for Room on the Broom ?
A very small part of me hopes they give it Dragonfly trains (themed to broomsticks) but then I remember which park we're talking about and all my dreams disappear.
So much for magic making.
Do one Merlin.

Sorry for the double post but I thoroughly recommend watching This Country.
Its a BBC3 comedy mockumentary following the life of 2 cousins in the Cotswolds.
If you want some refreshing light comedy at these times of pain please give it a watch. The first 4 episodes are now available to be downloaded!

Was it good? Was planning on viewing but haven't got to it yet.
I haven't really liked either episodes from the current series.
Mind you, the Christmas special was very enjoyable as was the entirety of series 1. The first episode in the wardrobe (I believe was called sardines) was class!

3 episodes in and I still can't take him saying O.J Punctual seriously.
I liked what I heard of the music though.

Cheers @Matt Creek @pluk
Yes, I've got the EP app, I've had it for about half a year in fact (I've downloaded loads of theme park apps really for no reason - and most are for parks I'll never visit).
The 2 days I'm going are predicted to close at 6, which is a good thing I suppose. I also know that at the time of my visit all of Germany and most of France are still at school - so fingers crossed!

Well then, I've just found out that I will be going to Europa Park for 2 days in early April. So could anyone tell me how busy you think it will be and also any tips would be greatly appreciated too!

It looks good so far in my opinion. I reckon the facade will end up similar to the promotion art as Disney don't tend to disappoint with exteriors.
Very quirky and totally different from anything at Disneyland!

I'm already bored of DBGT's marketing. It just feels too repetitive.
Cue a video of DB, some jars, a skull and a chalkboard - what the heck, throw in a model train too.

Crouch End, Haringey, Norf Landan.
The most middle class yummy mummy area and I hate it. We are surrounded by Tottenham, Finsbury Park and Finchley though - so my school is incredibly diverse, which is great!
Another positive is that it's a 15 minute walk from my house to the Emirates.

I'm not a horror event fan at all but from my perspective Thorpe's lineup lacks uniqueness - I feel like a solid hooded maze could work very well at the park.
Of course a major rebrand of the event would probably do it no harm too.

I'd rather be optimistic thanks.
