Bolliger and Mabillard
I've made my theme park tour of the world. There's 63 parks...! My aim is to at least get to ten of those. I have such big dreams for the future but they will be impossible if I don't get the experience needed to do what I love: theme park design. I've never been on a mack, never a hyper (bar Stealth) and to be honest, bar Nemesis, I've never been on a renowned roller coaster.

Bolliger and Mabillard
I'm getting seriously annoyed now. There's so many coasters that I've practically studied and would love to ride, however, realistically I know that will never happen. Fury 325, for example. I bought a poster of this B&M beauty, but I doubt I'll even get to The USA let alone get to Carowinds. Ugggh, life's annoying.

Samurai
This is the opposite of me. I've been numerous times in the past 2 years and 90% of the time it seems to be operating. Slammer though is another matter...!

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
I believe it will be much scarier than Duel certainly. The age limit is similar to that of horror mazes so I expect that If you can do horror mazes you will probably be able to do this.

Introduce Yourself
Hi Laura! Welcome to TPM. I, like you, was lured into TPM due to my fascination with DBGT. Hope you enjoy you're experience on TPM!

No, I'm sorry. I have awful fence recognition skills.

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
Am I the only one who thinks that the demon's arms look incredibly...unusual? From the elbows down it just looks very untextured and round. (This is me being very picky!)

Th13teen
Watch this from 1.07 till the end. It perfectly shows the affect of Th13teen even with the lights on. It's pretty funny too...

Hyperia Speculation and Construction Thread
The beach is so drab and it doesn't look good either. Ok, coasters might not be the best way to go but please something else rather than an unpopular, cold, visually grim beach.

You could also get a great Cobra's Curse type mack spinner in section B. Not too thrilling, not too tame, just fun. That would provide good visuals for entering the park too (assuming it would be relatively small).

Hyperia Speculation and Construction Thread
I agree with the space thing, and I also believe that an S&S 4D free spin would be a good fit for the park considering the cheap vibe. However, it would absolutely block the view you gain upon entering the park. The visuals of Stealth would be ruined and I generally think that coasters are better if on the perimeter of a park, thus creating a contrast from the central food based area.

Hyperia Speculation and Construction Thread
My 4 most likely areas of development. A is the most likely followed by C then B then D. A look at the 2010 plans shows that the island behind The Swarm is meant to have a 40M height limit, however I believe this will change and it could even increase as The Swarm went below its 50M maximum height meaning that the heights could have swapped since the 2010 submission that can be found on Total Thorpe Park.

Merlin Name Mania!
There better be a coaster called Theme Park Mania soon...

Stealth
I never thought I'd see the day when The Swarm and Stealth both get their effects back.

Hyperia Speculation and Construction Thread
Here's what id like to see for TP's investments over the next 6 years: Section A: The area more likely to be built on behind the Swarm. I've always thought this area would great for either 1. A dive coaster. It's the obvious choice really, something tall and imposing that we know Merlin like. 2. A GCI woodie. It could be great fun in a smallish space. Really compact and aggressive, also providing Thorpe with something they don't have... airtime. 3. A mega lite made by either Mack or Intamin could work excellently here. Other similar options could be the Chance Rides Hyper GTX for example lightning run. I always think that this model is similar to the Mega Lite. Section B: This is less likely to happen but I seriously think the removal of the beach and depth charge could give a decently large area for a low to the ground launch coaster. A mack launch or either an Intamin Blitz would work perfectly. I think something along the lines of Taron that could possibly venture even further to the left of the dome, perhaps circling The lost City flat rides. This would also give Thorpe Park much needed airtime.

Hyperia Speculation and Construction Thread
I honestly think a B&M hyper coaster would be a perfect fit for Thorpe. It could have the height needed and it could make use of the surrounding lake and scenery. I do not think an RMC would fit however, as I believe that particular style of ride is suited to parks with better landscaping.... Alton Towers. So I prey that TP gets a Hyper and that AT get an RMC.

Political Discussion
I'm a Corbyn fan. No, he won't make Labour electible in 2020, which is a problem. However, I find that I agree with the majority of his policies and I just like him as a down to earth man who doesn't care about his media portrayal. In fact, this Christmas, my family lost our Christmas tree angel. So we made one and we photoshopped Corbyn's face on it. So all Christmas, we had Corbyn on top of our tree!

Rant
I've just decided my GCSEs. My subjects are Spanish, Geography, Resistant Materials, all of the core subjects and ECS (which is also compulsory). I find that I, whilst in year 9, already feel severe pressure to achieve the grades. My sister was the star performer of her year getting 12 A to A*s and as a result all the teachers know my name and expect so much from me. We've always been told to consider out GCSEs early (even in year 6 where we hadn't even had classes for certain subjects). I believe this is ridiculous, pressurising and I believe it hinders more than it helps.

Fear on a Ride
I found it to be... overrated! Overcoming your fears can be relatively easy, as long as you remember that everything is safe and don't overthink it. I used to have a severe fear of horror Mazes. I was with friends, I wanted to look brave, so I went in The Asylum. It was the most frightening 2 minutes of my life where I practically bricked it but now I have no fear of mazes. There are 2 ways to conquer your fear: 1. Start small and work your way up, conquering your fear slowly (as I did with drop towers) 2. Start big straight away to conquer your fear straight away ( as I did with horror mazes) Both methods worked for me, so I suggest you give one a try.

I agree with everything you just said. I cannot vote yet but I am certain I shall be voting Labour.

Fear on a Ride
Nemesis is intense, I shan't lie. The inversions aren't really the intense bits though, the helix is the most forceful. I know you may be scared, but Nemesis is arguably the best coaster in Britain, Europe, the World! So, just try and be brave and ride a roller coaster that is beyond incredible. It really will change your whole perception of roller coasters and inversions. The good thing about Towers is that 3 of the big coasters do not invert (4 if you count Galactica as I do) therefore you can still have a thrilling day out without inverting!

Political Discussion
As suggested in the rant topic, I have moved the politics discussion here So, which political party do you tend to vote for? Which politicians really annoy you? What are your opinions on the EU referendum? What do you think about Osborne's budget? Discuss anything politics related below.... EDIT: I have just realised that there is a 'political discussion' topic that has practically been SBNO for 2 years. I did not see that topic when creating this one.
