According to talk over in Towersstreet SRQ are a thing of the past at Towers. Rumours are they’re all going. https://towersstreet.com/talk/threads/single-rider-queues.4679/

Also Merlin have confirmed MAP VIP will have fastrack right from day one.
  3. Wasn’t the rumour that Slammer was closed so they could use the money and resources elsewhere?
  4. Yes they have been red from day one.
  5. This weekends Services Day event at Towers has been cancelled and new date of 11th March. Support page
  6. Does that mean Rush still isn’t fixed or they are still putting it back together?

https://twitter.com/attractionimage/status/966708790304395269?s=20 A photo of staff on ride has been leaked by Jack Gater
  8. John Burton, from 15 out of 10 on scare scale fame? That’ll be fun ?
  9. car park
  10. But fastrack is in operation for Hotel & VIP guests.
  11. The park certainly will have to make everything more intense for Fright Nights, Merlin state this X rebrand is 15 out of 10 on the scare scale. Everything else is gonna seem like a walk down CBeebies land.
  12. He’s set the expectation bar very high, so this will literally be the more scary than anything they’ve done in the past. Wowed

Apparently this is for the TV advert and allegedly won’t be like this when the park opens. TowersStreet
  14. £50 to have a message engraved on the new plaza bricks Plaza Brick
  15. completely agree. And the worst part is improving the experience wouldn’t actually cost that much but because it’s not a headline grabber it’s not important to the management. If Merlin were really all about the customer experience they’d have tablets fitted in high traffic areas like every queue line, they’d have more feedback in one day than they currently do all year!
  16. Infrastructure and improved customer experience doesn’t get them (positive) headlines unlike these gimmicks they keep rolling out each year. Wonder why no Merlin boffin has run with “UK’s first theme park fully dedicated to TWD” it’s gotta be round the corner somewhere ?
  17. Not forgetting that Alton, Legoland & Chessington already have those exact rides so Thorpe was ideal and made it more “family”
  18. Non PR speak, human error strikes again and someone didn’t get the memo

This instagram photos aren’t of the Tigers physically at Chessington but at their current home in Sweden. They are just showing them so people can be interested in what’s happening.
  21. That’ll please a few who were upset last year with it being closed. Park have clearly listened to feedback for this year.
  22. Don’t forget last year Rumba Rapids turned into a “seasonal attraction” so if they’ve carried that through again to this year then got to assume it’ll be the same opening period as Towers.
  23. Has the ride line up been announced for 2018 yet?
  24. It would be a nice change if it was open but then where does the money come from if those 10pm closes don’t cost extra to stay late.
  25. No they’ve now called IAC and Saw Alive seasonal attractions so Saw Alive will probably just be Fright Nights and IAC very busy peak dates.
