Well I think the signage looks really good on the 4d cinema, and the dodgems. But detonators looks awful in my opinion.

Pretty sure they were all set to open last year, until they realised they'd destroyed the track by using the genie on it (and that section has now been removed).
Once they've replaced that bit they'll all be good to go.. as long as they haven't seized the engines.

They've brought back what the queue used to be, albeit with new sound effects.
The entrance to the queue plus the area (so where the games are) plays the inferno theme, the queueline plays sound effects, the station plays the dispatch theme (and used to be nothing inbetween that but now plays the 07 loading theme).
They've essentially gone back to how it all was originally. Which is kinda goood.

Thought would mention the Colossus station music has been fixed - the loud ambience plays with the automatic dispatch announcement with the whispering playing - it sounds great in there!
Agreed. Sounds amazing.
Infact most audio does, but it seems like they've still some work to do ala Stealth.
Also, shame they've decided to bring back the god damn awful 07 loading for inferno. That should die a death.

They've been having issues with the purple train a bit. So I imagine this will be the reason for one train goodness.

Really not well planned if they want people to use the fastrack entrance before 10am. What happens if vampire gets a queue? You'll have a long queue in fastrack and main entrance.
Actually I remember them doing this for annual pass holders when I worked there like 8yrs ago, and it was absolutely shambholic. Glad they've decided to do the exact same thing again. Just bloody offer an early ride time style thing using the main entrance before 10am and have done with it.

They're testing that out at the moment (hence lola appearing a few times). The idea is that all rides will appear on the new queue system, however maybe not necessarily the app (all Cbeebies will be on app though)

Point is, Gringott's isn't even finished and Stealth's is. And Merlin thinks it's second in the world in theme park entertainment when it makes people queue in a cattle-pen and Universal offers queues like the aforementioned.
Again, compare this to Rip Ride Rockett. Stealth is actually better themed and a far nicer queueing experience.

Delicacy does not mean that in the slightest and nothing at Thorpe Park is a delicacy or 'rare'. It's mediocre fast food.
Your standards need to be set a little higher I'm afraid =/
Bar 360 is alright! I wouldn't class it as a delicacy, however it is far from mediocre fast food.

This is good news for the project.
I strongly hope this park takes place so we finally have a world class park on our island (Alton Towers isn't quite world class these days) plus, the last major themepark we actually received (to my knowledge) was Legoland and that's nearly 29 years ago now
29 years? It didn't open in 1985.

I'm arguing with the people who are blinded by thinking this is completely acceptable to do this kind of thing. Reminds me of when I rode the swarm with a 2hr queue and had to wait as they loaded 12 people via the exit for 4 goes (and left other rows empty) for a stupid PR shoot. Two hour queue. They used this exact same excuse when we spoke to them about it (basically.. our park we do whatever we want and don't care for our reputation).

All HB leisure stuff are the same branding, the old fish and chips place and random units around park are all thorpe signage.
There's LOADS of park signs and feedback signs cluttering the area as thorpe signage (the feedback signs are awful because they green and look like they've faded in the sun).
I don't mean in queuelines, I mean outside of ride entrances.

The thing I hate about it is that it wasn't down for technical/operational reasons. It was down for marketing purposes, rather than the point of marketing.. to make people enjoy their day, have no worries or irritations and then come back again.
I hate the whole full price paid bollocks in any argument, it literally makes any argument or reasoning you have seem stupid and the people who listen to complaints/act on these then ignore you. Everyone should be treated the same in this aspect, whether you're an annual pass holder or a day guest paying whatever rate to enter. Don't act like the higher paying deserve better or try and use it to fulfil an argument cos it doesn't work.
