I find it easier, and more comfortable to lean forwards than have my head back. Somehow come off the ride better if leaning forwards.

They're not cramped. Unless you have luggage, or girls in your group. Then it'll be lovely and squishy.

Wait a sec.. so you can look into peoples rooms? Interesting...
  5. They introduced alton's annual pass entry midway through last season. As for thorpe, I use any turnstyle as it accepts it.

No, this is what racist people say to make themselves feel better, or normal. Amazingly, nothing like this goes through my mind whatsoever. Because I don't give a **** where you're from, what colour you are, what gender you are or who you fancy, because I'm not a complete moron.

Surely the fact that they're working, in a place most people wouldn't want to work, shows that they are hard workers and are trying to get themselves and their families a decent living? Can't believe anyone could moan about that.
  8. Alton don't let you through turnstyles, you have to go via a dedicated annual pass entrance.

Is the loading theme make or break for you buying an annual pass?

SAW is rough in my opinion. The other two I've been on are absolutely fine (Rage and Speed). Unsure why anyone would say Speed is rough - it practically glides around the track.
  11. Holiday form pending. Should hopefully get it off. If not, I'll just come anyway.
  12. Fred replied to Mark9's topic in Nonsense
I thought exactly the same. What the actual ****.

In just a t-shirt?! You must've been bloody freezing.

Was designed to speed up boarding and all issues arising from a free-for-all. Having numbers on arms will be utterly pointless as they'll constantly move, so guests will be confused where to go and it won't help at all. May as well go back to the old days than do that.

As long as the toilets are still waterproof, that's all that matters. Smiler looks good.

It's silly that the weight has to be almost spot on both sides - it can only be a person difference. Would've thought it'd cater for like 5 people extra on one side or something.
  17. The only thing decent from Burger Kitchen is the chicken burger. And even then, you may as well just go FCC as it's just in a bigger bun and overall nicer there.

Difference between this and stealth is that you actually walked under the launch track - only part of stealth you walked under (which wasn't covered) was to sunken garden. Though, I far prefer what they had last year to this.. what the..

I cannot answer that, but I imagine so. The issues with audio last year were apparently an upgrade to Project Link (the system which links up all the audio and runs it under the dome, as mentioned above).. which didn't do anything but mess things up. It killed the zones (Lost City disappearing), and it sped up tracks. The installation of project link killed things like inferno. This year they bought a brand new system, which seemingly is slowly being put into place now. Hence inferno, and now Lost City. Imagine they're slowly working around the park finishing it off.
  20. 32A picks up and drops off on the plaza, like the old buses. They've cut them as they lose money and it's a drain on the business (I'm not entirely sure about that.. winter maybe, not during season though). Those services are literally two buses. The way home is one bus operating to Leek via Hanley. Expect it to be completely full and standing, as it's the only bus for staff and should really just be run as for staff only.

Samurai isn't for balancing, it's for what I mentioned. Slammer needs equal (or near enough equal to) loading on each paddle. Silly really!

I love the smell of smoke fluid. Sub terra is my dream.

Why would you want cheap fastrack? Some people on here really are clueless. I absolutely hate thorpe and it's selling of fastrack. Everything has to be fastrack related, everything has to be making as much money as possible. Not a care in the world of whether they're overselling it or whether it'll be logistically easy to do. Should do a towers.. not introduce fastrack on new rides to ensure the operation runs smoothly, and so you can get a relatively accurate average throughput.. then price accordingly if you really must do it.

It's so that if it breaks down - the weight of the riders will bring it down nearer the platform. Chessie didn't have this rule - instead it had the poles beside the ride (ones with flags on) which they'd use to lower it.

Do we tolerate this as free speech, or should we be censoring his awful views? This is as bad as saying you wouldn't wanna be served by a camp gay because you cringe at him speaking. No actually, it's nowhere near that. It's way worse.
