They are there to do a job, to fill the trains up as much as possible and if they have to be in a position where they actually have to speak to paying guests then so be it.If the park are saving thousands on cannabilising the third train (not to mention operational costs) then the park can do their best to fill the existing trains up.

I think you miss the point slightly of Adam's post. The 1000's of paying guests may matter a lot to the park, naturally they would, but I don't think of what the 1000's of guests might like, I take what I like from an enthusiast perspective, as would most sane people on TPM, and discuss. Yeah Intamin get a bit of a bad rep on here sometimes but actually, Thorpe's Intamins are pretty damn solid and have propelled the park far faster then a normal B&M would have done. Now that time is starting to catch up on them, particularly Colossus, Inferno rides better all the time. You said it yourself to me via text Marc, how well its running. To be fair though, the general public do that about most rides. The general consensus on theme park forums about Colossus and Stealth is that they are above average so I'm not to sure what you mean by this.

Swarm looks wonderful. I can just imagine how wonderfully smooth and intense it's zero g roll is going to be. It oddly completely dominates the right hand side of the park. Despite Stealth's size, Swarms chunky track and massive inversions make Stealth look like childs play. Wonderful stuff.

Ha! Love it. (Although it would have been better with an Inferno train on it's lift hill)

Oblivion - Alton Towers Been having a trip down memory lane and just remembered the effect Samurai had on me when first seeing it, riding it and saying goodbye to it at Chessington. So it jumps straight to number 4 on my list.

Going back to this a second, I sometimes feel Samurai would benefit from having limited music on it. Because of the nature of the ride very little music works with what action the ride is performing. Maybe going as far as just having the sound of the ride itself because its quite a noisy ride as it is. Double post for impact. This time, just walking.You need a cash machine. You head to a row of empty ones. All of a sudden people come out of nowhere to use them and you get stuck behind the people who enter their pin, remove their card, put it back in, get a statement, take out the card yet again, insert it again to get cash. And then stand there counting their money.You leave a shop or a station. Any normal person would carry on working but not mothers with prams. Deliberately stopping in the most inconvenient places, these people are trolls.People in groups of threes who deliberately walk in a row along the pavement pushing everyone out their way who is walking towards them.Some trains have three across seating. Despite it being rush hour, some idiots decide to sit on the inner seat meaning the window seat often has no one in it but because these people give you the look of thunder when you try to use the empty seat, most people don't bother. They just stand in despair as idiot people put their VIP bag onto the seat for added insult. This can also happen on planes.

I find I make a spelling/grammar mistake if I'm writing particularly quickly. my mind isn't computing whats gone bfore. it's's just thinking of the nextg sentence to spellbound you. Theirs no to ways about it either.

Considering how heavy the trains are and how quickly they pick up speed, I would put a lot on the line to say that near miss element will be more effective then you suggest. I kind of get where you are coming from in terms of preferring terrain to height but.. Swarm will have both.

8/10 for having an Inferno full front row.

It's taken my two years to realise the title of this topic is wrong.

Illogical but understandable in law suit USA. It's a real shame though as I always felt the dueling parts of the ride were the most worthwhile parts and everything else was layed down to get you to those points. Once again stupidness ruins the fun for everyone.

Raptor proves they can keep mist effects and water effects going so... here's hoping.
