  1. Which is being shown by the General lack to queues on Stealth and the massive queue's on Saw.I do prefer Saw anyway.
  2. Apparantly (Acording to SP) Saw's cars have had the wheels replaced to stop the sqeeking and 'jerkyness.'Also it is being worked on through the night to fix capasity issues.
  3. Rush is quite a big deal smaller then! And skywawk swings higher over it's main frame than rush does.Skyhawk: 103ft-125ft - 22ft differenceRush: 52ft-70ft- 18ft difference
  4. People died?!I felt like I was going to fall into the sea! What went wrong? if that makes sense?Give me Slammer or Rush and Day!
  5. Brigton Piers, Super Booster!!
  6. Saw's restraints feel very Safe to me!I would hope so, after the whole 100 degree drop and worse for me, the climb Has anyone noticed the padding on the restraints, next to your head (well my head, I'm rather short!)I seem to have gone on a post spree

    Slammer

Has anyone been on Catapult, or as it was SWAT!?
  8. What have you done! One of them will have fallen down by the morning now Haha, well to be honest there are quite a lot of rides that begin with 'S' and they are all fairly unreliable!
  9. http://www.sixflags.com/newEngland/rides/Catapult.aspxYeah; well the website says it's operational!Rush is always worse on the 'near' swing, but get's better through the day strangly!SkyHawk look'so much better, how much bigger actually is it? and is Rush still the second biggest?
  10. Vortex was the first permanant one of it's kind I think.
  11. The air tanks, seem very small compared to the vastness of the rest of SkyHawk. They seem much bigger on Rush.
  12. Did they add to the experience much? What were the queue's like?
  13. Do many other Drop Towers?I've never been on one quite like Detonator.
  14. Yeah, I feel the exact opposite, Detonators drop seems to short and uncomfortable to me, and the height of Hurakan Condor, intimidates me a lot!Although, detonator, for me, whilst uncomfortable on ride left me with a 'rush' far greater than Condor's (If that make's sense)Does Condor, not 'push' you down like detonator then, Just drop you?(Again if that make's sence, I feel like I'm talking rubbish!)
  15. Detonator, argh I will only go on this ride if the other queue's are long, or my friends want to go on it.Going to the top I'm fine, although the first jolt as you leave the ground is odd!But comming down, the initial drop is fine, just a weightless sensation, my stomach 'goes'. But then after a bit the forces are uncomfortable, it feel's like they are pushing on my head, I can't explain it it's just .....wrong!Apocolypse and hurracane condor (sp) didn't feel like this at all to me, they just felt like a weightless feeling (like the initial feeling you get once you have dropped on detonator)
  16. Slammer is such a unreliable ride, the amount of new parts it must of had Ah well at least S&S's other creation at Thorpe is running well, for like the first time ever.Just Out of intrest what sort of angle did it stop at, so like closer to verticle, hortizontal, or the other horizontal, upside down?

    The Blade

Really, where are the others? And yeah, but it used to go higher. The best "Ship" I've been on is one in Isle of White called "Colossus"

    Mr Monkeys Bannana Ride?!
  19. Errm yesThey also make TTD, KK, Expedition G-Force, Millennium Force, Maverick and many more.Check the top 5 in the most recent Mitch Hawker's coaster poll, look at the Manufacturers, and come back to me.http://www.ushsho.com/steelrollercoasterpollresults2008.htmJust because the examples in the UK/Thorpe Park arn't brilliant, does not mean that they don't make good ride's elsewhere.

    Nemesis

It's spitting track rust/wax over riders. And it's been getting stuck on the lift hill.
  23. Oh..... I'm not denying Thorpe's Reliabilty in General, is terrible.I was just kind of comparing; Colossus (A ride that is usually very unreliable) compared to Nemesis (A ride that is usually reliable)Don't know what point I was trying to make really, just thinking aloud.
  24. Colossus is doing far better than Nemesis (Alton Towers) this seasonAs well as flinging track rust/wax over the riders, it's breaking down for day's at a time, and vibrating when it does open!http://forum.towerstimes.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=23460Second page = Make's Colossus's downtime seem minimal.
  25. I like the Idea of a dueling Flyer!Mabye even over the lake.Unrealistic though, not even sure if it's possible.
