October 23, 200915 yr comment_74116 Woo! :)Really looking forward to seeing the park all Halloween-ified, and the Black Forest Pass should be good
October 23, 200915 yr comment_74121 I will hopefully be visiting Chessington next week, it will be my second Halloween Hocus Pocus which has got me excited. The Black Forest Haunt looks interesting, can anyone clarify what this consists of? Thanks!
October 23, 200915 yr comment_74124 The Black Forest Haunt isn't going to be a maze, it's going to be on the same level as Haunted Hollow- Live, which was more just a bit of fun, and that's what it's designed for.So basically, it's going to be the path from the bottom of Transylvania to Black Buccaneer that's received extra attention for Halloween and will have actors walking around :)But it's unlikely the actors will be "scaring" you :)I'm looking forward to it.

October 23, 200915 yr comment_74160 Has anyone been in Hocus Pocus Hall Bewitched before? If so, what is the experience like, scary like FN mazes?

October 23, 200915 yr comment_74166 I still jumped when I was at the end of the line as an actor touched my back.Talk about me screaming!
October 23, 200915 yr comment_74167 Yeah I wouldn't expect anything like the Fright Nights maze's to be honest.I'm still hoping to try Hocus Pocus Hall: Bewitched when I go on Monday Should be good fun!
October 23, 200915 yr comment_74170 Just got back from Chessington, after a very pleasant evening there.I got there at 4:45, and had a quick ride on the vampire, followed by walking on to the bubbleworks. (Yeah, I know )After this, we went straight to the rattlesnake and rode on it twice, followed by a quick visit to the sea-life centre.Once we got out of this, it was now dark and the atmosphere electric. The park was looking excellent, with pumpkins, cobwebs, and some great lighting effects. Whilst THORPE PARK tend to stick with a lot of the green lighting, Chessington really went out with red, pinks, blues, greens, strobes and fog effects, making all of the rides look excellent. We then headed back to the Vampire, where we had a ride in the front in the dark. (Bet this is making Keith really jealous!) The ride was brilliantly lit up, and a very enjoyable experiance. After this, there were around 10 minutes left until closing, so back to Rattlesnake to get 4 rides in a row!Overall, a great evening, I really enjoyed it and I thought the park have done excellently on the theming front.Well done Chessington!EDIT- I'm not sure what the Forest Haunt thing is, however I did see several actors walking towards that area wearing Victorian Style Costumes, presumably for this attraction.
October 23, 200915 yr comment_74172 Oh brilliant, thanks very much. All this talk about it is making me more and more excited for Monday

October 23, 200915 yr comment_74181 I'm really looking forward to seeing the changes made around the park, and the lighting you speak of Gandhi sounds brilliant. Also can't wait to do Dragon's Fury in the dark
October 23, 200915 yr comment_74198 You're frankly mistaken Vampire is actually Keith's - he's left his own special mark (stain) on that beast and he well rides it more than everyone else
October 23, 200915 yr comment_74202 Me and keith have allready had a nice arguement over her () via PM's!I lost!I know how much of a fanboy of the Vampire he is, I'll just stick with the original Nemesis.
October 23, 200915 yr comment_74208 Nobody would ever win a battle regarding who owns Vampire. Its Keiths :)Just for your reference "Gandhi", heres a picture of the pillow I got for Keith.
October 23, 200915 yr comment_74211 Let's try and stay on topic guys. Does anyone have any pictures from this years Halloween event, if so I'm sure we would all love to see them.
October 24, 200915 yr comment_74332 I went yesterday was a great day. Rides had around 20 min queues all day but at one point Vampire had 60 mins. I will do a trip report tomorrow.
