James & Co. Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 I'm a maybe at the minuet but it's looking as if it will turn to a yes, I just have to speak to my dad and see if he will let me get the train all the way there by myself, should know pretty soon I imagine
TPJames Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 I guess I will have to be a maybe- if I can get a 'plus 1' to come with me who wants to join the meet then I'm a yes, however I'm not sure my friends particularly want to meet up with TPM
James & Co. Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 It's a yes for me I will be attending the meet and my dad has kindly offered to get the night shift that he has either cut down or off so that he can drop me off and pick me up from the train station EDIT: Can't wait till this meet, will be my first one, I am ready to see and get to know all of you lovely people off the web and see you in person Mer and Matt 236 2
RideAddict Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 It's a ? for me at the moment. Usually a Sunday I can do, and living so close it's usually a yes.
EC! Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 This will be my second TPM meet so I'm sort of not a newbie anymore, all of the people I met in thorpe are awesome, and it will be nice to meet even more of you guys, and the first timers like I was last time, Dragon Fury awaits me !!
Luke_A Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 I'm a maybe for now, as it's my birthday the day before on the 20th and I'm not sure what's going on with family etc yet for that! If I do attend the earliest I can leave home is just after 9:00 and I should get to the park for about 11:15 if I'm lucky through London... Will also have to leave at around 6 at the latest because of stupid Sunday train service on the way home too! I will confirm early next week.
Pickles Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 If I can get an ap cheap then sure. If I can't then not so sure...
Sidders Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 Dibs on a seat in Peaj's carrrrrrrrrr. Love yhoo Peaj EC! 1
Mer Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 Ditto to that - and at least I'm sort of on the way to Chessie unlike some who are in Winchester (Plus carrrrrr is cheaper than train ) Love yhoo even more Peaj
AJ Posted April 2, 2013 Author Report Posted April 2, 2013 30 mins if I go straight to Chessington or over 3 hours to collect sidders hmmm.... Edit: with Mer to Thorpe park yes on route to chessie maybe not so - let's see yar
Sidders Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 Haha, don't worry about it Peaj. Will get the train to Chessington South and then bus it.
TPJames Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 Peaj please can you add me as a maybe 'plus 1' as that is the only chance I've got of coming to the meet
Pickles Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 If anyone wants to pick me up from Reading =D
Mer Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 Sidders - you can walk from Chessington South, only takes about 15 minutes!
James & Co. Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 I must agree with Mer, it's like a 10-15min walk
Fred Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 Everyone will be getting train to Chessie south. Sod the walk, I might bus it . Best attended Chessie meet potentially? Lets do it! AJ 1
Sidders Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 I've never got the train there. If it's that short a walk I'll give the bus a miss too
James & Co. Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 I am doing the walk, just need to find out the route , might be a little bit after 9:30 for me getting there as I need to pick up my MAP when I get there.
Phill Pritchard Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 Really looking forward to this, my first Chessington meet!
James & Co. Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 Seems like the meet numbers are going up now
RideAddict Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 I've never got the train there. If it's that short a walk I'll give the bus a miss too It's about a 15-minute walk from Chessington South (and boy what ****hole of a station, thank god it's small).
Benin Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 I am doing the walk, just need to find out the route , might be a little bit after 9:30 for me getting there as I need to pick up my MAP when I get there. It's so simple TPR could do it...
Fred Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 You follow da signs. Leave station - turn right.. end of road, turn left... walk.. chessington appear infront of your VERY EYES. Takes 10mins, literally. But it's effort, get a bus and become fat like me.
James & Co. Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 Haha, thanks for the info, but alas I beat you to it, I looked up the directions And I am fat I have a bus pass to get to school
