Thorpe have confirmed opening on 18th March which I guess we already worked out!Its going to be a long winter!

Its been open for a while now, I guess they only just updated the site!

A merlin annual pass is only £75 at the moment for those who dont have one at the mo!

A new game 2010, the games have just begun

Obviously the forum has to have some degree of moderation and a few house rules to keep everything in order, and I personally feel at the moment things are working. But obviously, what members think is just as important as what we do, if not more as its you who make's the forum what it is. So if anyone does have any suggestions / problems or concerns with how the forums are please do not hesitate to let me know in a PM / Email and I'll look into it for you

Just a idea, seeing as the sky behind is so "clean" it would be pretty easy to adapt that design and people can put there favourite ride there, instead of just nemesis =]

I'm not sure what incident you mean, I thought a guy was flung from a ride because he was over the weight / size restriction? I thought that the Hydro incident in particular was due to her not being in the seat correctly, since then operations have changed at the ride? Never rode a B&M with a minimal restraint system personally. The Intamin rides pass the same safety tests as the B&M's, if run properly they are as safe as eachother.

Remember though, alot of the incidents on Intamin rides are the faults of the parks of where the incident happened, rather than the ride it self. If your not secured in any ride properly you will have problems, be it a Intamin or another manufacture.

I was there for the later openings trial last year, yes it did die down but thats no real surprise. There wasnt any mention anywhere around the park apart from on small laminated signs on some fences.
