  1. Following our poll, we had a overwhelming response for the meet up to be held on Saturday, so thats when it will be! SAW - THE RIDE - OPEN DAY MEETUP Park: Thorpe Park Date: Saturday 14th - Sunday 15th March 2009Meeting point: SAW - THE RIDE plazaTime:12:00SAW - The Ride, The Worlds most terrifying rollercoaster opens for business on Saturday 14th March 2009, and we plan to be there! We plan to meet at miday (12:00) at the new Saw - The Ride plaza, near the rides entrance sign. Following meeting and the normal group photo we plan to jump in the queue to take on Saw - The Ride. Saturday 14th March is the first day of the full park opening, so along with Saw - The Ride we will hope to also see a full ride line up for the day. The park is open from 10:00am until 5:00pm. After park closing its a general formality for those attending the meet to pop along to Nandos in Staines also.Due to demand, we are also going to hold a meet up the next day on Sunday 15th March also.If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask!If you would like to attend please PM me and I will add you to the list.I hope to see you there!Saturday 14th March 2009.Attending: (15)MarcIanMarkJamesProfessor XEllieMeme5053WillLouisAeroJames AHazzerHollyChris DJack DSunday 15th March 2009. Alex, ive tried to reproduce your bug using opera 9.63 and I seem to be unable to?! Is it just the text ads or image ads?
  4. Yeah, I also think its abit to close to the local residents for them to be able to build any rides over there.

We are able to do this for some of the regular mistakes such as "I'm" to I'm" "I" to "I" etc but with spelling mistakes such as ride names, with so many different ways of it being spelt wrong it’s hard to fix things like that with a spell check!

    You will see soon

Thats abit unfair, you can not see whats going on inside the rides arms, inside the rides compressor room etc. Also they may be awaiting a part or working on a part in the warehouse. Also Rush has been regularly testing throughout the week. The nets have been put back up now, hopefully it will be opening soon.
  8. The difference is the gas tank required gas to be bought and filled up every so often.. These dont.
  9. There is a small housing next to the blades which has an isolator switch, I'm pretty sure that they will spin.
  10. Yeah he still does this season to, he loves his zodiac!
  11. Picture Time!Group Picture!Another group picture (Blame Colossus!)Meet Mer.. and the contents of her mouth..And hey look its Rob!Hello Ian!Holly too!Iskander xDMer again..Rich..Rich and Dan!Enjoy!
  12. The wheel stopping is just one of the morning tests they do..
  13. Nandos wont take bookings on Saturday nights!
  14. Zodiac did not fail, before the ride can open to guests a number of tests need to be carried out. That is all it is..
  15. Hey guys, it's just Mark9 posting under Marc's name. Rides will only be closed if there is a legitimate reason. Surely you may have noticed how cold it was today. Zodiac was not failac, that is its testing procedures. The thing with open day is that the rides haven't operated under normal operation for a long time so you have to expect downtime. All those going today expecting all rides open were thinking way to positively.
  16. Hey Guys! Thanks for the responce so far! Last year after our trip to the Park we all headed ot nandos for a bite to eat and we hope to do that again! If you would like to tag along, let me know!CheersMarc

I never went on, but I dont agree that it should make a comeback. If Cheessington are to continue progresing, they need to look to the future, not the past. Bringing back Rodeo would send off all the wrong messages IMO.

Windows 7 - BetaA few people ive spoke to have expressed a bit of an interest in this so I thought I would put some stuff up here!Windows 7 is currently under development and is Microsoft's latest operating system following on from Vista. If your a vista user you should recognise alot of the things in 7, which have been refined, tweaked and improved to offer the best and fastest expeence.Pics: This is the main Windows 7 desktop, as you can see, apart from the tool bar there's very little difference between this and Vista. One thing they have changed is that the Gadgets are now desktop wide, not just limited to the Sidebar. If you own a mac, this will more than likely remind you of the Dock! This is the new task bar in Windows 7, text has been removed, icons have been increased in size and the old Windows "Quick Launch" feature has been merged into the task bar. (You will be glad to know the icons do not bounce up and down!)An improvement to "Show Desktop" which used to sit on the Quick Launch bar. There is now a small tab to the right hand side of your clock, when you hover over this it quickly turns all your open Windows into "Transparent Glass" to give you a peek at your desktop, when you move your mouse from the tab, your windows will re-appear as they were. Clicking on the tab will take you directly to your desktop allowing you to make changes etc where needed!Another welcome fix in 7 is that the area around the clock has been cleaned up. By default icons which applications try to add are hidden and accessible only by clicking the see more. This can be changed so you can only see those important to you making it much more clutter free!If you own a mac this will be nothing new to you! Windows 7's toolbar now has a nice little feature called "Jump Lists" This allows you to quickly control certian most used parts of the programs with just a couple of clicks.Jump Lists also make an appearance in the Start menu.Hovering over a open application will bring up all the open windows, along with lighting anything after your attention. In here, you are able to hover over a window, much like the desktop peek feature which will bring that window to the top of the transparent windows, so you can decide it it warrants your attention from what you are doing! Now, when you drag an application to the top of the screen it will maximise it for you if you wish to do so, no biggie but its certainly usfull sometimes!Windows Media Center has had abit of an overhaul! As have many applications untouched in years such as Paint and Wordpad!A new feature is "Devices and Printers" this is basically a easy to use device manager. It helps you diagnose any problems you may be having with any software pretty easily with step by step guides. Finally the Windows Game Explorer has had another overhaul. The biggest addition from this is Windows will now help you keep on top of all them many game updates by managing them for you. Whilst I dont game an awful lot I'm sure that will be a very helpful addition, much improvement over looking all over the net for the latest updates for your new game!Considering its early beta status its very reliable, it runs as good as if not better than Windows XP. Helpfully it wont get the bad reputation vista picked up so early on.Thats all I could think of, there is loads more with networking, home groups etc but didnt want to bore you to much!If there is anything you would like to see ill do it.
