Thorpe would be closer for you.

Thorpe Park - Opening Day Meet Up
Really depends who for, for me thorpe/staines would be 10 x easier, its close to the m25 and just a few junctions from the M40, nothing stopping us having a few meeting points.

Thorpe Park - Opening Day Meet Up
The big issue I can think off is where do we all meet, I know personally I wouldnt like to be driving around peoples houses all across the area before having to drive all that way and I'm sure other drivers would feel the same, so would a central meeting place be a good idea? A easy station to get to or thorpe or cwoa?, that along with the time, we would have to leave at stupid o clock to get there for opening.

Park Music
When the q line theme was playing in the station the cannons were really loud, could hear them from the queue line, it sounded great! Staff found ways of entertaining them selves with nifty dances to the thuds too!

Thorpe Park Trip Reports
Yesterday:Was nice to be back and see a few certain people but personally I didnt enjoy it a great deal, for starters I needed more layers so was shivering all day! Nandos was fun, driving for kingston was funner and danns house is cool :)Today:I learnt from my mistakes today and I had a few extra layers on so that solved that problem!Got to the park about quarter too, was waiting in what we thought what was the annual pass q which turned out not to be and this was my first annoyance of the day, a member of staff asked us politely to move to the other q which I had no problem with atall, but what annoyed me was a member of what I presume was the RCCGB arguing with the staff member, refusing to move, what makes you any more important than anyone else who had to move please do let me know. The park imo was generally clean and very presentable, there were a few bits and bobs which could do with tidying up but nothing major like last year! Reliability was good, all rides due to open did open, the coasters opening late due to the cold temperatures but this coudlnt be helped. It was great to see things looking nice and neat such as new/painted restraints on vortex looking as good as new, thorpe belle repaired, tidal wave/beach repaint and of course the Colossus Pit looking fantastic once again. I also hear inferno tunnel will be back to how it should be soon!So overall I am impressed, whilst some things could have been better organised there was nothing which I would call major up with the park.

Park Music
Was certianly nice to hear the inferno dispatch music back, just a shame it seems to be manual at the moment so out of my few rides on it so far ive only heard it once but its defenatly a step in the right direction! I also personally liked the q line music playing in the station certiantly better than the flute crap and it sounds great on the cannons! Despite the ride not even being put together was also nice to hear rush playing its old music/announcements but not too sure there meant to be playing in the quantum q line It was a shame to hear the old Canada creek music playing in the distance from slammer after having the great line up of songs playing on it on the last day of the season in 2007! There still seems to be the odd problems with music around the park such as WWTP in both tidal wave area and stealth area constantly cutting out in various places, along with Nemesis Inferno area music doing the same but with abit of luck these are small things which can be ironed out!I liked the new music on Mr Monkeys Banana ride (at least I think it was new) along with fungles music which I have not heard before! But yea overall things certainly seem to be going in the right direction.

"For any of you that travel on the M25....... BEWARE......As from 15th Feb 2008 the speed cameras between junctions 10 (Wisley/A3) and 15 (Heathrow) WILL be active. At present they are set intermittently to activate with any vehicle travelling over 93 MPH. As from the 15th they will be permanently set to activate at 80 MPH. I am reliable informed that everyone travelling over this speed WILL get a ticket. This will no doubt rake the Government `loads of cash`. DON'T GET CAUGHT.Please Forward to your Friends.."Thought id warn anyone on here who drives
