Sounds like its playing over the entire Old Town area / Platform 15 (Loggers) Queue line - the attraction may have different music.

Any one any idea why they've removed the scores / leader board from skyforce was a great feature..

See I'm not sure if it it cost cutting with the amount of staff around in the batch / entrance area - I think it's more because the bag room was madness as people were being batched in, if anything it slowed the process down. I guess time will tell!

The windows are able to mist up / de-mist when needed - that said for most of the time you with your vr on!

Is the bonuses thing really that bad though? As much as it's a good headline I'm not sure you can directly link that and the accident - the ride had been shut an hour and had a long queue - I expect the engineers were keen to fix the ride as soon as possible regardless of what ever bonus they get. I also doubt that it's very unusual - I expect engineers in other industry's will have similar payments for hitting targets.

From what i understood from the court case the problem come with the confusion between the number of trains on the track - the engineers resetting it thought there were 4 and accounted for 4 trains when of course the 5 with on the track and stalled.

Whilst 5 Million dont sound an awful lot, it is the highest fine which has been issued in this industry - also the judge said the fine was originally 7.5 million but was reduced on Merlins guilty plea. This also wont include the costs of compensation to the guests on the ride - and of course the business impact felt by Merlin and which will be for i expect a few years yet.

I wouldn't say the 2 person rule cripples throughput.. it rarely stacks in the trim brakes so it's running as well as it can

Hmm on 3 trains not stopping I doubt the throughput is any worse than it was on 4 when it stopped - no idea what it got on 5!

To be fair it's perfectly possible that guests did call 999 - problem is with guests is anything what happens can be majorly blown out of proportion- whilst in this case it was obviously major I expect emergency services wouldn't attend till towers confirmed they were needed. May be totally wrong of course

They've said there was a wind meter at Obvlion which for some reason wasn't activated. Merlin have also disputed that wind caused the stall stall. "Merlin’s barrister suggests the empty carriage could have become stuck because the brakes slowed the empty train “more than they should have done.”"

It just guarantees entry , if you arrive early you'll usually be fine unless they declare it as a pre book only day but this will be advertised in advance! It may be a shout but if your clever can do all the mazes without fastrack

TBF the face it alone i did there was very little like that but have heard some are. Of course no ones forced to do these extra experiences if dont like the sound of the reviews!

Whilst I fully agree Ghost train etc are not the best rides in the world, it don't make people wrong if they do enjoy them just a differing of opinion!

True - that said Loggers did often suffer issues with pumps, even last year it had temporary pumps in to keep it open over some periods.

Its running significantly better now after its closure than it was before, was there earlier this week it open around 15 minutes late, only saw it go down once and was back up in 10 minutes

Looks like the passes have gone up £10 on this years prices - still good value for what you get etc.
