Saw some workmen with Intamin clothing on today heading into DBGT - that means severn-lamb, Simworx and Intamin have all been spotted around the attraction now!

Shame - would probably be much better!!

X never played the playlist in the station - it was silent. If you heard the music it would of been coming from the ride it's self.

Ive been to the park 5 times already this year and its been in use every time. Maybe I'm just lucky?

Thats simply not true. Ive used fastrack for Colossus and Inferno on numerous occasions over the past couple of years and both use their dedicated Fastrack queues and are staffed. Colossus one often switches between the entrance next to Slammer and the Main entrance mind.

Seems very hit and miss - certainly somone on our ride was told if they didn't want to wear it they couldn't ride. I thought it was terrible tbh - the headsets are heavy and pretty painful to wear, they are also blury and require focusing with some small wheel - I couldn't get mine in focus I either had blurred of very blurred. The headsets also rattle about the whole ride. The content started off well, leaving the station and going up the lift hill was effective, but after that I thought it made the ride feel shorter and wasn't very effective. Maybe with better hardware it could be improved but then these are just mobile phones in glasses. Couldn't beleve the throughput though - although I'm sure spinball staff are happy they are no longer on the lowest throughput coaster!!

The staff love it - as Nick said they are very enthusiastic - they know they are working in what's provably the best Merlin shop ever and are getting into it just as much as anyone! Definitely made me more excited for the ride!

No idea when it changed but you certainly didn't have a choice today.

They do know what they are talking about - you do have to wear the headset to ride, it states this at the entrance too. Somone in our row didn't want VR and were told they cannot ride.

In the grand scheme of things this isn't going to cause a dip in attendance - If anything the huge publicly this has gained them in the press will boost it, the amount of people it's upset will be relatively small in perspective.

Surely you still would have been angry if They had gone up at 10 exactly and you missed out despite trying for an hour?!

Shop is looking *really* good - a tonne of pictures and a couple of videos of the rotating wall etc on the TPM fb. Loving the stuff on sale - the levitating train is amazing!

This isnt the teacups ride music - the music your talking about (which is also used in halifax adverts) is part of the 1 hour + Angry Birds land area theme. ABL Area theme will play over teacups as its part of that area on the park wide sound system - so when nothing is playing that plays by default (Same reason you'll get Colossus theme on Slammer etc)

The for the avoidance of any doubt the queue line shop isn't going to sit in the middle of no where un themed please stop panicking!

Colossus was testing yesterday so must be getting closer!

Your right it does - god only knows how they plan to fix this mess what with there only being 7 weeks till it opens - sort it out merlin!!!!

With the amount of enthusiasts wanting to ride the back row the back row queue probably is a good thing right now!

Most departments have new uniform this year which is blue again.

No doubt that will be next!

Thats fair enough - My post was more that I just am not a fan of people who watch things like Blackfish without doing any more research on the subject and believe it word for word!

A little more research and you'll find most of Blackfish is false - most of the former seaworld employees they interview were sacked for various reasons - strange that they would want to say bad things about the company eh! It's nothing more than a propaganda campaign with the people behind it looking to make as much cash as possible - no matter what they make out! It's no huge surprise with the huge amount of animal activists they constantly have against them - I've no doubt though it won't stop here I'm sure they will find something else to moan about. But as Matt says a few more years to get visits in and experience Seaworld how it's meant to be!

I just refuse to believe the track is like that - and if it is then I'm certain it wont open like that. I know intamin don't have many fans around here - but they've been building coasters for years and are able to fabricate straight bits of track. If I'm wrong then well... this could be an interesting experience!

It won't make any difference to maintenance nor require any less staff- if anything turning the rows round will have been more work.

I'm not sure if your being serious but if anything the loss of the more expensive fastrack sales etc will if anything lose them a bit of money.
