Storm Surge
Fair enough - when ive ridden Storm Surge this year ive noticed the spash at the bottom seems much bigger than it used to be and will come over the side of the boat more times than not

Storm Surge
Out of Intrest do the others get you as wet as Storm Surge does? I remember back when it opened apart from the guns you wouldn't get wet atall which obviously meant the boats didn't get water in them, now most of the time you'll hey a big splash and wet at the bottom obviously filling the boat more!

Storm Surge
Happens every time I ride it - I just know how to avoid it I guess!

Storm Surge
I guess youve never been in a flooded loggers boat!!

Storm Surge
Whilst I'm not defending Storm Surge - Loggers Leap boats fill with water and soak your feet just as much, if not worse than Storm Surge does! Got to love closed season

Project WC16 - New for 2016
Don't get this whole Merlin hate for this, Merlin have shown they are more than capable in theming their attractions when they want to and the budgets there, for a ride which will be more about theming than any of the others I've no doubt they will theme it well and have the budget to do so.

X
I don't think thorpe would pretend that broken / graffiti walls in X are part of its theme.. X is touched up and repainted every year.. Last year after being open around 2 hours the walls were all ruined from graffiti, unfortunately painted wood is easy to scratch, I've no doubt it will be redone over closed season but after a day it will be ruined again. Of course they could knock down the queue and start again / cover the walls in something more graffiti proof but thats probably easier said than done.

Project WC16 - New for 2016
The blue railings are now all gone in the arene and had a pneumatic drill towards the back of the concrete seating area starting to take that down!

Project WC16 - New for 2016
No one knows at this point - the plans show a template of what the building could look like, like Saw I expect they will be keeping things like its theme under wraps as long as they can and wont give clues away in the planning application.

Closed Rides
Colossus has just started testing. Hopefully will reopen for the final few days of the season!

Closed Rides
When I went to America not all the rides opened on full capacity or even were at full capacity at any point or certain days. I agree it can be frustrating, but theres going to be more reasons to it than we can see or need to know.

Project WC16 - New for 2016
Wouldn't read anything atall into the theme - it's just a place holder of how it could look - I imagine we will see more plans maybe at later date!

Project WC16 - New for 2016
I never got bored of riding things like Escape from Gringotts and Transformers at Universal - dark rides can be a truly amazing experence - feel this is exactly the type of attraction the park are crying out for.

Project WC16 - New for 2016
Really exciting times - we've cried out for a decent dark ride for years and I've every confidence that Thorpe will be able to deliver this. The building is pretty huge so who knows what could be inside. I'm sure some will be glad to know the plans detail a Single Rider queue too!

Fright Nights 2014
Of the many thousand of visitors , the complaints on Facebook are quite a small percentage.

Fright Nights 2014
Looking at queue-times website isn't really a good indication on what rides are down and how long for, it depends on how often the queue-times website updates its data and of course how often thorpe park update the queue boards.

Fright Nights 2014
Thats an idea if its valid on these dates. If not can only recommend you turn up as early as possible and keep an eye on the parks social media for updates.

Fastrack
The argument of those who pay more get a better service has been gone over and over again, and in some respects your right, those who are happy to part with more cash are going to get a better service, but this is hardly exclusive to Thorpe Park or even the Theme Park industry as a whole. Whilst you are right, £5 per ride is a fair amount of money, the packages offer much better value for money, if anything its the packages prices they could do with increasing IMO.

Fastrack
I don't think they are telling people they need fastrack, certainly they promote it more than other parks though. I guess its about your perception of what fastrack is - if the fastrack queue is an hour but the main queue is 2 hours plus, to me I see the value of fastrack its its more than halved my wait time - and again they haven't said its NEEDED for a good day. Your right though - fastrack wont ever go unless theres a dramatic change in the way the GP visit the parks, to people like us who visit regular fastrack is something we dont see the value in, for a guest visiting on their only trip of the year I expect the perception is quite different.

Fastrack
A business promoting its product on-line?! What ever next!

Fright Nights 2014
Yesterday was very busy - was there for around 3 hours and got on X, Slammer, Rumba and Depth Charge , waited around 30 min max Sure it's busy - but it's certainly not as bad as people on fb saying they only got on 2 rides all day!

Fastrack
Why would buying fastrack make guests idiots?
