I think saying its in a dire state is a bit extreme, Colossus is much much smoother now than it has been and IMO rides very well. The track don't look good and could do with a repaint I agree with that, but its hardly in a "dire state".

Love the look at this, the plans seem far more detailed than the plans we saw before, looks really promising. Its clear if you read through the plans the park have never really given up on the idea of this and the Crash Pad / Shark Hotel were only ever there to fill a gap till they were ready to install the full hotel.

Probably not, Thorpe would ask the manufacture for so many Red / Green cars etc, Thorpe would add the vinals when everything is finished so they are not damaged You can see there here! As you said in CBeebies land topic in reply to criticism, its still unfinished.... Plenty can happen in a week.

^Well I say land - it does say 4D experience so maybe its just showing of the movie?

A quick snap from today shows the structure for the dodgems is now up and awaiting its theming - looks like some signage is on site now to ready to go up.

Its always been in two. As has been suggested before Stealths area could be branded as Amity Speedway pretty easily and would still fit.

The structure for the entrance to the area is now under construction - looks massive! Thanks to Josh

I don't think it's lazy, more in-keeping with the areas budget which obviously won't be millions like it would be for a so called large investment.

Its somthing to do with in the event of a power failure that if there are more than 15 people the weight of the cross will work its way to the bottom.

They are second in the world for visitor numbers which as far as I know is what they claim?

To be fair it has very little use now in one piece or many pieces! Always sad to see old parts of the park destroyed though.

Have you stayed at the Hotel? The rooms are built to a very high quality whilst obviously small they are very comfortable and pleasant to stay in.

In my experience (and I visit a lot!) only on the busiest of busiest days does the car park come to a halt inside - and on the worse days they sometimes raise the barriers and it still queues so I really don't think they cause as many problems as people make out

You don't see it because the lights are off , unless you have a camera flash in there I don't know why they've removed them but they won't have done for no reason..

I do agree with you, and I'm sure many of us on here have had fastrack as compensation for issues before! Don't worry about it and enjoy it!
