I noticed this morning when it first opened it was going as high as it used to and looked like it was running well but throughout the day it got woese. I'm sure they are aware and will fix it

It's only been testing today, no sign of life around it as of 5 min ago!

The light column has gone the lights have been put to good use around the ride!

The new lights in there are very good too!

That said Detonator no longer advertises it has fastrack. I cant see the cinema being to badly effected by it tbh.

I like it, much improved on the last few years kind of goes back to the old style thorpe park. Noticed quantum isn't on the map though which is a bit strange! I do like how the map shows the park to be more of an island now too something id like to see them take more advantage of.

The difficult thing is how do you know who will ride the rides and who will just be looking around? Unless they implement some kind of wristband system (Which tbh I wouldn't like to see) theres not much they really could do to make it work effectively.

I'm sure if it was a problem atall it would have been fixed when mondial referbished the ride in 2004? I thought they were meant to do that!

To be fair I can see why theyve gone down the route of changing the theme instead of putting it back to how it was, how do you market a ride with new theming which is the same as before? It dont look fantastic right now but we still have just under a month till the season starts, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt until we see the final product.

Would love to see a ride like Maverick at thorpe personally, could theme it really well, high throughput and could fit in a gimmick or so to keep the appeal to the GP.

If you was to go when an events on id recommend staying on-site, you can pay around £50 for unlimited fastrack on the main rides and if on-site this will last you the duration of your stay. Fastrack is run pretty well in my experience, its not a place id like to have to queue.

No major surprise - its the only major coaster without one!

From the looks of the video on Sky / ITV the lakes look high but thorpe park don't look flooded yet, I noticed they are also offering their car park to local residents so id guess theres no immediate threat to the park

Indeed it will, unless of course the park closes!

I'm not so sure on that! Ive no doubt in a month or so times Flappy Bird will be charts with games such as Draw Sometime / Songpop which were majorly popular at one point but quickly fall away.
