The Smiler
This seems more likely to me than it being the actual name. The word 'Inoculator' is too easy to see, and I can't imagine Towers would give away the name in this manner after the marketing done so far.

2013 Changes
The clue was that the sting is in the tail though, which in my opinion all but confirmed it being the back (two rows was the rumour) of the Swarm being turned around. I really can't see them doing it to an entire train, it sounds like a logistical nightmare. That said, I couldn't see this happening at all a few months ago...

The Smiler
Why are people assuming this is the final name? IT'LL BE CALLED 'THE EDGE'

Coupons/Tickets
No you don't... I don't think I've ever bought a fastrack ticket and I've been to the park 95% of the time on weekends or in half term. The Disney system isn't as simple as that. It's a lot more limited in its use, read: http://micechat.com/forums/disneyland-resort/176562-joy-fastpass-2-a.html

Implying that a ride already themed to a computer virus in the Lost City makes more sense...

MTDP
I highly doubt it. Thorpe built themselves up very quickly but that's easier when you're replacing older rides and you've got a lot more space. I especially find the idea of Thorpe throwing flat rides around to be an unrealistic expectation. What flat rides do Thorpe really need? I can't think of a stand-out option around which would be of immense benefit to them... they've got a good selection already which has helped establish the 'thrill capital' status they were going for, but now that's in place the park's focus will shift towards the quality of attractions rather than quantity, which will keep people returning in the long term. EDIT: Sidders beat me to it but yeah...

Cedar Point
I love how Gatekeeper looks almost literally on the beach... And the view coming over the top will be amazing...

So there we are then, it's the world's first scorpion rave ride. Well done TPM!

The Crash Pad
Thing is, almost everything Thorpe seem to do nowadays is a 'temporary arrangement'. It's nice that they want to invest, but it'd be nicer to see them invest in something to be proud of, rather than 'eh it'll do'.

Chessington 2013
US and UK have different systems though. Storm Runner is the same type of coaster as Stealth, goes upside down and still has a lower height restriction. If Cheetah Hunt was in a Merlin park, they would inevitable give it a 1.4m restriction. If they were going to go down the inverting coaster route, I'd prefer a B&M flyer... it could satisfy those who want something a bit more thrilling but also not be too intense for those wanting to try their first 'big' coaster. In this scenario though, a ride like Manta (the Mack, not the B&M) makes a lot more sense.

Chessington 2013
An inline twist for a lot of younger ones would be a make or break as to whether they want to ride it, and may affect height restrictions. You can still make a successful ride which appeals to a broad range without it requiring a inversion.

Samurai
They've dismantled Samurai many times before during open season. It doesn't mean impending removal, it means they're fixing it.

2013 Changes
Well, this is the where you're looking from... I don't know if X:\NWO is even visible from the motorway, nor am I great with distances, but if you look at the bar at the bottom left, it suggests that you're trying to find something (through the trees which make it hard enough during the day), with no lights on it, from around 1,500 ft away. In a moving car. At night. Think about it...

In the dark, you would definitely not have been able to see whether it was there or not. (which it is)

The Smiler
It's funny because the whole right side of the image isn't even necessary, and if anything they've just drawn more attention to it.

The Smiler
Fair point, but sometimes it balances out through those who evidently don't know it all. The last post I remember of that sort was someone saying Slammer was being decommissioned before the end of the season. That worked out well for them, and the sight of Slammer testing was then made a nice surprise. Anyway, it's a shame for staff who don't tell everything to everyone they know, who might just genuinely like being able to know what's going on.

Thorpe Park Open Season Trip 2013
I can't imagine there'll be a quiet park during Easter weekend

The Smiler
Seems stupid to risk your job just so you can post that... it's hardly even mindblowing news; 'we're going to try and make our new ride look good and start advertising it more'. Wow. As Peter pointed out in the shoutbox, it also affects what the staff get told in the future. Silly.

2013 Changes
Because it's only been 5 days since the facebook post, and there's still 60 left 'til opening day? So we've gotten 8% closer to opening day.

Feedback of the Forums
Sometimes, it's pretty inconsistent. Like when I tried to use once it wouldn't let me until I wrote it out. I can still see them though. (I'm actually having the quoting problem now...)
