  1. The rudeness. I'm sorry but it's tedious! Keep backspacing when I make a mistake.

Good times for wrapping being done.

Been reading your about me bit on here. I can't believe you were one of those people waiting at those gates on opening day. 26 rides on Vampire?

    OH DEAR. ;-)

  2. My two. Seriously it's taken meages to decide because I like every picture, all for their own very different reasons. I've changed my mind about 15 times!
  3. Wooops yeah it often helps.

The moment has gone now. It sounds stupid. Haha. Moving on... =D

  4. Timing is key Time of year helps as well I think. It should be popular, it was a great idea. I'll have a nose through my photobucket and pick one, or two. I like them all though!
  5. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it was something to do with the pump/ water pipes not working properly, and a combination of not having the right funding and/ or right attitude to fix it.I'm sure someone on here can give us a bit more info on this, as I'm not completely certain.
  6. Awesome picture James! And pah why can't we vote for you? Hehe. Just to remind me, because I have a memory of a sieve and no effort to check out the first post, are we allowed to post more than one picture? Edit: - I preferred the Nemesis one

Wow! This is my fave! Very Gothic, very dark, almost has a Stephen Moffat presence about it. I want it, now. =DSpooky actually because I looked at their flickr literally an hour before this was posted. Thank you very much to Alton Towers who are doing a wonderful job of keeping us updated! A very happy Sheepski here!
  8. The last time I saw it working properly was the 2003 season. Really sad.

Alot of people are saying the outside looks tame; what people don't realize is that due to the terrain in that area, the track doesn't really go much higher than the bottom of the first drop, with a couple of exceptions. Should be air- time city!Sounds sad, but I'm looking forward to the station probably the most- I can't resist a well themed station!
  10. I would stab a guess at giraffes and zebras, flamingos maybe? I'd like to know if this is an addition to the zoo, or some parts of the zoo are being relocated to here. I do love the zoo part of Chessington, but some of it is looking very tired and the animals deserve better enclosures.
  11. Noo, no Haggis please! I'll stick with the accent!
  12. Hi Aly.Welcome to the forums! Gotta love those Scottish accents!

Ha, yes, thanks for that. I did sleep well thank you, and with the light off! Woooo! The snow falling off the roof kept scaring me though!

LOL!! ^Ha that sounds exactly like me and my friend. I kept asking what was happening. So glad I didn't look at the end. Although I think hiding made it more scary.Oh and I've told themeparkmad, I'm getting my revenge on him when I next see him, trying to scare him more. Will be fun ;P
  16. Right, 99.9% going to this, will make sure I take both my video camera and digital camera to get some good info for TPM. Might be some good content for AT mania? Haha

So I'm going to be honest, I've had to sleep with the light on the past few nights. Went and saw Paranormal Activity. Been freaked out ever since. I was hiding behind my coat for half of the film, which I think made it worse.I think it's freaked me out because some of the things in the film has happened to me before. The whispering voices, the scratching on the walls *sudders*. Our house is terrible for this sort of thing. So many things have happened. Now after seeing that film, it's tipped me over the edge! Ha!

  21. It's £147.60 each for the two nights. And Dnaiel, that's the correct amount. It's £396, for 2 people sharing a room. So £198 per person for the two nights, without AP discount. With AP discount, it's £356.40 for 2, for the 2 nights. So that works out at £178.20, each. There is a promotional code, where you enter a code for your AP discount, I'm not too sure on the code, unfortunately. Someone will know though
  22. Thought I'd start a topic regarding this, clearly there are a lot of us who are interested. For people that can, and want to go then we all need to get booked quickly. So basically, on the booking page, if you share a room with 4 people, it works out as £147.60 for the 2 nights with the AP discount.Sounds a lot, but remember that includes, free breakfast and evening meals for the two nights, unlimited access to Extraordinary Golf and the water park. Plus activities include, behind the scenes of Rita, Hex, and Thirteen. With talks from the Marketing director at Alton Towers, John Wardley and much more.Dates are Friday 13th March and Saturday 14th March.More info HERESo basically I thought I'd post this to see who was interested, and maybe some people from here can go together, share rooms and all that- as long as Marc behaves :rolleyes:So what are people's thoughts?
