  1. ^^ Yeah. Stealth looks prettyer though. Even if they are clones.
  2. ^^ I'm only 10 behind you! dam. But I have quite large totals on others too...see sig.
  3. The smoothest rows on Colossus are row 13 and 1. Basically though, try and avoid all 14 back of car seats. They seem to move very fixed with the track. There is no give. Where as at the front of each car isn't so fixed and has room to move from the track, lowering headbangs.
  4. Haha, I was alreadly having a great day and it just got that little bit better!!Thanks again James.
  5. Yeah, that is really well put together!Trim it a bit and stick it as a 1min slot on ITV! So much more effective than the Spring ads.Oh, I'd love that music on Saw's plaza area.
  6. Issues with the Catch-car again probally. I bet.Ka is down at the moment aswell, funny enough. Poxy Intamins

    Rush

Erm...It was on two on Sunday. Working flawlessly.
  8. I find that amusing. Actually mixing the music up on one park loop sounds pretty good! Better than one visit last year where the whole music system was down. Totaly silent other than Inferno's loop speaker strangely.
  9. Has anybody else noticed the rumble effect works now? Just playing in the wrong place, under the lift. It's like, pretty awesome bass. With fire sounds.Have the speakers on the volcano ever worked? I've never heard them working ever.

    Your Thorpe Park

2010 - Clean-up (Colossus, Inferno, Vortex), Bugets for effect repair. Saw track repair. 1 new high-capacity flat ride. Put covers over Stealth and Samurai's Queues. 2011 - 1 New high-capacity coaster called 'Storm' on the west side (B&M Hyper new style/Intamin - MegaLite/GG Woodie), themed to the New York 1989 theme I mentioned on Southparks. 2012/13 - Nothing New. X major revamp. "Worlds first interactive coaster". Think Tomb Blaster/Duel crossed with the coaster. Remove Arena for a green open area. 2014 onwards - Queue's revamped on flats. Totaly ripped out. Redone to improve presentation.2015 - Hotel and also a Lakeside show where the belle was. Break up from the rides.2016 - Add Flat or a Coaster to New York 1989. Ether a Giant Frisbee or an Intamin Impulse called 'lightning' Themed to a subway in NYC.
  11. James, you made my day!! Cheers!
  12. It is awesome Everything is perfect at Cedar Point! They actually know how to do queues over there! Through-put is amazing on most, and theres no line cutting passes like fast track, so queue's actually move unlike in the UK parks! Staff are fantastic running through the whole stats of the ride on EVERY run.And obviously the rides are awesome! Especially Millie, Mavvy, Maggie, TTD, Wicked Twister, Maxair, Skyhawk (Rush is better).
  13. That plastic sheet is just pathetic. God, atleased make it look like you tryed...
  14. Saw only really gets its atmosphere from its audio Without it loud it doesn't work at all. I remember on the first few days, hearing Jigsaw from the carpark! Now you can barely hear it from inside the building!
  15. Saws, or any Eurofighter's track is 3' 11 1/4".

    Fastrack

I am against ALL fasttrack. All the rides have a poor throughput as it is. Doesn't need this adding to it.
  17. I always start off at Inferno and get a few Re-rides in. Then I normally stay on the west side so I can get many rides on Stealth or anything in the area. The down-side to that is Saw will be rammed when we get to it, but the west side always stays dead for about 1 1/2 hours. I always save Colossus to the last hours. Its always empty in the last few hours. I always work with the shortest queues going. I know roughly how queues will work this year now and my technique always works. I will not queue more than 20mins unless its a breakdown. End the day on Inferno. Aim for 30 - 40 rides each visit. FT is NOT needed to achive this.
  18. ^^^ Would that be Lee/Undead Creature as he was known on there? That would be the same source as me then. Was always going into details about Stealth and Rita. Even down to them being planned as one ride originaly, split into two. Too bad he's gone now though.
  19. Its always been 0 - 80mph in 1.9 secs roughly, give or take. The acceleration change never actually happened. Just marketing.
  20. Finally worked out Saws bump.Well basically its a change in radius. That makes it look like it has a flat spot. There is a sudden drop by litrally centermeters. I've used circles to make it stand out more, if you couldn't see it before. Basically it does this:Should be roughly like this green line:Hope some Thorpeys take a look at this next winter... I don't really like my neck cracking.
  21. ^^Etta James - Shortnin' Bread Rock.
  22. The Saw film main theme would in no way fit the ride. Too lively and dramatic. Plus, the park would need to pay royalties to the track. We need a tension building track for the build up. I do find the queue track very dull though. The main area is fine. It works to be dramatic as theres a lot of activity around. I strangely keep hearing park tracks on TV! Griffon, BGE's construction program has the Colossus beat in the background at one point. On the "who do you think you are?" program they use Rush's 2006 track partly. I have also heard its 2005 track somewhere. Slammers old tracks are always on.
  23. Ah yeah, there was one day last year in march where the mist was even thicker than that. 9th of March I think. They were trying fog instead of water though. It covered the low section after the 0G. Best ride ever on it!
  24. ^^^ Its better because the swings on Skyhawk are very drawn out, unlike Rush. Its only ever on a 7 swing setting, so you only get 1 full swing. The high swing (Swing B ) wobbles from side-to-side aswell. Wierd sensation. Ive done it 8 times.
  25. ^Those lights tell us if the restraint is open/closed far enough.
