It's just as much her husband as it is her. They live in Farley village, and tbh I can never even hear Oblivion from anywhere outside of X-Sector, let alone a couple of miles down the road. They should have just accepted Alton's offer to buy their house for a lot over its value, and f***ed off out the country. Water logged kicker wheel apparently.

Yep, 2 on each side. Bose porn . You heard a 40 song loop 3 times in a Tidal wave queue?Lets say each song is on average 3 minutes long, that means you've queued 360 minutes for Tidal Wave?I understand on Stealth it getting repetitive, cos the loop is only just one hour long, but on Tidal?!

You stop because it adds to the ride experience. And if you didn't stop, the ride would not be able to operate 4 or 5 trains, because you would be eliminating the block brakes. So they can monitor whats going on? So they can call security if they see a fight in the queueline, so they can see if anything collapses, so they can see if they need to close it to clean up some puke, so they can check nobody is smoking. So they can check that nobody is attempting to stand up on one of the bloke brakes, so they can tell if the ride needs to be e-stopped, so they can monitor where each train is, so they can check nobody is being stupid, so they can monitor evacuations. It was there, flashing and making sounds yesterday so the battery lives on.

The only time I've been on the Met from Watford towards London, and it hasn't been covered in chavs defacing something on it, was at 3am on New Years Eve. In other news, I've seen that advert on many tubes, and there was even a fullsize billboard with it on outside Waterloo. Here is the website for the group making these things.

Oh god I'm guessing this was on a Watford branch train. *Even bigger sigh*

If you missed them, they probably weren't up when you went on it, it's now a case of being able to hear the Samurai theme in the Colossus queue. It's crackly speakers have all gone and been replaced with 4 of these.
  17. James replied to humjosh's topic in General Discussion
Yeah because all the music is controlled by a central computer now, rather than individual sound systems, the queue loops and area themes will play anyway, unless they are actually switched off. Also, I am rather liking Samurai's shiny new speakers
  18. Feel free to stick my name under MARK9!

Anyone else noticed that the window that had the robot in, in the queueline has been boarded up?

My local shopping centre appears to have been totally covered in 3G iPhone adverts. Oh joy. I didn't need a reminder that if I had waited 4 months I could have had an iPhone for the same price as my current contract.
  21. I think with a bit of TLC with Vampire would be welcome. The station could do with a refurbishment in my opinion, get rid of all the crappy old speakers and stick some new Bose ones on that side of the track. Perhaps add some new lighting effects, give the Vampire organist guy a good old clean and maybe some new motors so he doesn't look so robotic? The queueline could do with a good clean up too, just looks so shabby. Maybe some new scenery, new fencing and some music or sound effects. I know its quite cheesy but things like the talking gravestones and the interactive bits in the Haunted Hollow would perhaps make the queueline slighty more amusing and kill time a bit.
  22. Well they have moved it round a bit

I agree with that, during Scarefest it was cold and wet but Rita was awesome! Although I find Rita great in any conditions. I think Rita is one of those rides that I enjoy my rides on more than Stealth, but I refuse to admit I like it more than Stealth
  24. Most fanboyish thing I've ever heard. Congratulations =)Two shots I took last year that I quite like:
  25. Can I ask why you want a pic of these out of curiosity? General fanboyness?
