  1. Sorry but I'm not liking what you've done to the Home / Guidelines / Help / Search / Menu toolbar.I like the new / old post icons, but the menu looks a bit disproportioned (I think that is the word).
  2. Mmm I bet you do love smoke and speed :huh:Really is great to see the smoke back on Stealth. Good amount of it too, not too little, and its not covering the whole station. Can't help noticing the lack of queue in that pic.

Surely if a nut or bolt fell off, it would just go through a net.
  4. Isn't it behind the Chained Oak B&B? The locals supposedly tell people where it is if you ask.I'm staying there during Scarefest this year, a trip down there at night may be on the agenda. Scared much.

End of the day music is a piece of music that plays everyday at near enough 6 oclock, it plays across the entire park on all the area speakers and some queueline speakers. It starts of with a lively piece of music for 3 mins, then another 3 minute ambient track which is also in the lower dome throughout the day, then it ends with a 5 or so minute long piano track. I wouldn't be surprised if you hadn't heard it, it was first used summer 2007, then done a dissapearing act and is now back.WWTP caravan has a huge dent in the side of it at the mo Its used for selling Stealth fastrack tickets though. And Tidal's WWTP has always been a loop, Stealths was a randomiser thing so I guess there was problems with it, needing a loop rather than randoms.
  6. Gwazi? Or whatever its called.

Lol not had that one. Might have to give it a try.I've had the whole Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes stuff on Rush before. Summer Sessions was great fun at the end of the evenings for games on Rush.

It could be better, but it could also be worse.Loggers Leap and Canada Creek I think this year have improved massively. The songs have returned instead of the 2007 royalty free stuff and its playlist is now 35 songs instead of 19. Its a good volume and it plays in the whole area and generally works well. You quite often notice the odd group dancing along to something like 5,6,7,8 or Cotton Eyed Joe. Makes the queueing that bit more fun too.Colossus whispers being returned to the ride this year is good. Nemesis Inferno has its dispatch back but it doesn't get used on every dispatch I'm still noticing. The area theme is back being used to good effect. Rush has had its announcements spruced up a bit with music in the background of the announcements. End of Day music is playing every day near enough at closing time which is pretty good! Nice music. Some negative points however, WWTP is at its worst ever in Stealth area's. It STILL cuts out, more and more speakers are gradually dying and its hard to hear. Its also got extremely tedious now with the same songs on a loop but tbh I doubt most people are gonna visit enough to realise that. DJ's coming back and speakers being fixed would be a great improvement!Detonator, can we have more than one speaker playing the ride theme please Thorpe?!.But yeah could be much worse.

Those effects aren't new, they were used on and off at the start of last season too. They are just very tempremental.

St Pancras is great inside, there is still more and more becoming available still. 'The Circle' opened a few weeks back which has a large retail area in it. Its all very flash Handles the passenger traffic very well too.

I wouldn't say having the ECML is such a bad thing, dunno if you have noticed the problems no the West Coast Mainline lately? =PSerious signalling problems in Milton Keynes and Bletchley a few weeks back, meant trains were being delayed and cancelled constantly for like 2 weeks. All the compensation I got for this too was £4 worth of travel vouchers. Delays on the ECML seem pretty rare although Kings Cross is a total dive and should be burnt to the ground =)
  22. James replied to Phill's topic in Nonsense
To be fair, from my last 8 months working at Waterloo, I have very rarely heard trains that are delayed by more than 10 minutes. They don't seem to be like other companies who can have delays without something happening on the line. I have yet to come home from Thorpe and the Reading train has been on time, its ALWAYS 2 minutes for me, which is nothing really but yeah. And I think in 23 days I'll join the drag race.In this beast.James ftw.

Nothing at all like a ghost ride, its a backwards rollercoaster in the dark with a sci fi / techno type theme.
