  1. I asked a ride attendant and she actually told me why it was shut!It is because on one of the lift hills, not enough water is reaching the lift hill causing the ride to be unavailable. (I am only going by what the ride host said).
  2. themeparkmad replied to AHW's topic in Quick Questions
That is so stupid!£50 was hard enough to get!
  3. I do not know the exact reason. But rides surely are set on percific height restrictions for a reason. If the manufacturers said the ride needed to be 1.4m. Then it would have to be.That is all I know I am afraid.

It is my favourite piece of audio out of all the rides I have been on.I would love to see a new audio system. e.g. Like the Bose speakers on Colossus. These can really pump out some sound.Plus, If I get into Chessington and get Area 1. Nothing would make me happier, whilst working, to hear Vampire's audio truely coming alive! You Go Vampire!
  5. themeparkmad replied to Dan9's topic in UK Attractions
Omg, Thank you for them photos and videos! From the video - This is proof that the audio on Vampire needs to be sorted out a.s.a.p. so we can actually hear it!I can not wait for the day to walk into Vampire station with my favourite audio playing as loud as it is in Nemesis Inferno's station!
  6. Colossus yesterday reached 120 mins on 2 trains. Vampire on 1 train being 60 mins is good! Plus, Vampire is really close to me so I would do anything for it which sounds really sad but oh well!

Francea week at Thorpe Park or a week at Chessington?
  8. After reading about all these things on what is wrong with Colossus; Colossus actually was fine all day yesterday and the queue was at 120 mins and went down to 15 mins. There were no queue evacuations on Colossus and no breakdowns on the lift hill etc.I have never seen a queue drop so quick and this was when SAW: The Ride was unavailable and had "Technical Difficulties".Either it is luck or my love for Colossus????
  9. During Thorpe Blast last year, Colossus did frequently stop on the lift hill which is not good for me as it is my favourite ride!
  10. When the park was closed (refering to yesterday's breakdown) I did spot SAW: The Ride going around the track perfectly! However, as tpkabz said, It was closed for the rest of the day.(Great day with you though tpkabz )
  11. I went to Thorpe Park yesterday and I did not see Colossus stop on the lift hill once!
  12. Went to Thorpe Park today with a friend called Ryan (Not on TPM) and met up with tpkabz (on TPM) at around 12pm until Closing.Park opened today at 10 am and closed at 6pm.We had the aid of 15 exit passes (split between 3) which were used during the peak queue times when school children arrived.Rides Went on:SAW: The Ride - I was the first person out of everyone to go on SAW: The Ride as most people were like 'where is it!' ;)Colossus - approxamitely 10 times.Nemesis Inferno - 1X:\ No Way Out - 1Flying Fish - 2Time Voyagers - 1Rumba Rapids - 6Rush - 2Canada Creek Railway (CCR) - 3 = Blame tpkabz! :DQuantum - 1Tidal Wave - 1Mr Mokey's Banana Ride - 2Storm in a Teacup - 1Ride count is an estimate.Quite good though for school trips on!Queue Times saw at most.Colossus - 120 mins SAW: The Ride - 95 minsSamurai - 45 minsSlammer - 25 minsRush - 70 minsRumba Rapids - 20 minsNemesis Inferno - 60 minsTidal Wave - 75 minsQuantum - 15 mins.Loggers Leap and Slammer where scheduled to be unavailable. However, Slammer was open after a few test runs in the morning.Unfortunately, Loggers Leap remained closed all day.SAW: The Ride broke down around 2:30pm and remained closed all day.My first ride on SAW: The Ride - Amazing! I was screaming like a girl! (like usual ) - I was really scared tbh but enjoyed it with a 0 mins queue! :PAlso, I saw Alfonso for the first time! I never really got what was so good about him but he is so nice! The way he spoke to us was just so complimenting and just Alfonso increased my happiness and gave THORPE PARK a better reputation in my eyes! Also, 1st time meeting tbkabz face to face and you are amazing and cute! :DA great day with great people!10/10!(10 even though Loggers Leap was unavailable which is one of my favourites and have not rode since November 2008 as broken down exery time I have gone!)

A really good day can come at a price though! But I have to agree, they are worth it.However, I have not got an Ultimate Fastrack for 2 years now but I might purchase one on Fright Nights as been saving up to buy one when visit Thorpe Park when the monsters come out to play!
  17. If Griffins Galleon has been unavailable since Friday, Why is the website not stating rides that are unavailable??
  18. Slammer is currently unavailable?God, That is a shock! It has not been down all season! Pardon my sarcasm!
  19. I have a soft spot for Colossus as it was my first roller coaster at Thorpe Park and I love the ride.Colossus' audio is my favourite becuase of the tension it creates.I also love the announcement in the station. Please Stand Clear, The Gates are about to close... etc (This can be found on TPM. Colossus Announcement 2006).On RCT3 - The reason why it brings it to life is becuase you can relate that piece of audio music, In your case Air, to the real ride making you feel even more as if tyour coaster you have created on RCT 3 is real!
  20. I definately understand what you are saying! Colossus is my favouite too! :PI think there are still some audio, hense you saying Stealth, that is currently not on TPM. I think that I heard from an admin friend that new audio might be put on when the new TPM is up and running. However long that will be. ;)However, some people have posted links to ride audio on previous pages if you want to browse through them.
  21. See my post above for link to audio page.
