The Banning Game
His name, picture, signature and favourite ride all point to Saw: the ride (win), but then mentions on his profile he can't decide between saw or...........Samurai..............(Lose) fair enough at Chessington but at Thorpe....Needs to seriously make up his mind cannot advertise all his Saw loving when Samurai still comes into the picture!

Ride 15 - The Swarm
I have voted good as I believe it is a fantastic addition to the park - but I don't think it is the best ride there. I'm extremely happy with the new addition and I believe it's a great ride - It's nice and immersive and a couple of the loops on it are some of my favourites - Well done Thorpe

Chessington In The Media
Just seen the advert as I found they have the TV advert on their website ^_^It was good they were keeping the theme of the explorer and the zoo and rides got equal mention. (mainly vampire and kobra)You can see how proud chessington are of madagascar this year just because they are showing the madagascar logo as much as possible

THE SWARM ERT - FRIDAY 23RD MARCH
Right after originally saying that I was coming and then pulling out because of work commitments - The way things have been going this week we are currently ahead of schedule - I don't know if it means we will just finish earlier in the coming weeks or if it means we get a half day on the Friday which means I'll be able to get from Marylebone to Staines by 5. I so hope this happens. So I can't confirm but there is a small chance I could get there so hope you don't mind me just crashing in last minute If that ends up being the case

2013 Changes
I can see the new development going there next year as if you think about it it's not a small plot of land if used correctly as you got all the track going behind the inferno shop as well. I remember when riding it the ride always seemed to be longer than I was expecting and had a decent track length IMO.Yes it's not going to fit a massive ride but I can see it easily fitting in a flat ride there.I also noticed there is work going on behind the swarm as well which is not on the other island so we could see a repeat of 2005 with two new additions.............,.Now that would be a shocker......so yeah moving on.......

Unofficial PREMIERE SCREAMING Mini Meet
Yeah we were around the swarm area around 5:30 hobbling along due to some injuries :PJust this moment got in from Thorpe Park today as on way home had to go to the hospital for my mate's knee - so sorry If I wasn't as sociable as I would of liked today but I am extremely appreciative for all of your understanding and waiting for us to hobble along (whilst singing a song) as I can imagine it could of got pretty annoying moving at snail pace. However great regarding that extra ride time for some of ya

The Swarm
Right, I've now been taken by the Swarm so I can actually make an opinion on it now whoop!Right I won't go in too much detail as everyone has covered it but I do think that it was worth the wait. The have made a very good effort on the themeing and I completely loved the coaster however after riding it a few times in various positions I came to a conclusion that it wasn't my favourite rollercoaster in the park (even though it is still very good). Swarm has my favourite inversion I've experienced which is that first inversion after the drop and Being on the right hand side flipping over into the drop was EPIC! but overall I prefered my ride experience surprisingly on the left. However my favourite coaster in the end still for me is SAW. The ride overall is more intense for me and gives me a grey area unlike the Swarm and on Saw there are many drops even after all this time that I sill can't prepare for even after all the times I have been on it. And the opening sections with the traps and Billy and the Station I just love all of that on Saw, so it still is crowned for me as the best coaster there. (I was extremely impressed with the station for the Swarm)

TRAX - 15+ Club Nights
Oh yes Vodka and Red Bull (Not that I'm saying drinking is to be encouraged) But a good sponsor nonetheless. I hope the talks go well as I can see myself and a few friends having a fantastic night on these events if they go ahead.

The Swarm
Some good reviews on here (And some picky ones...) but I now can't wait to be taken by the Swarm tomorrow now. However it has just occured to me I don't know about anyone else but when you hear the Swarm Cry I think it sounds a bit like the 'monster' from the TV series Lost. Anyone else agree? Or is it just me?

THE SWARM: In The Media
Fantastic Track, appeals to the target audience - I'm just glad it's not being played around the whole ride as I know I'd most likely get sick of it otherwise being stuck in hour long queues throughout the year - The none lyric music I can handle as it's longer and not so in your face.Thorpe have done well this year and have been really innovative.

17, 18th March - Merlin Annual Pass Holder Only?
Right I have just checked the terms and conditions as sometimes the friend and family discounts do not apply on certain dates. However for Thorpe Park here is the following:Adult Walk Up Price £42 (What!! That's gone up sooooooo much since I last bought a ticket)Friend and Family Price £24Child £31.20Friend and Family Price £18Now the important bit.....Offer is valid from 15th March - 6th November as long as tickets are booked at least 24 hours in advance. It's a dead cert to give this call another shot and If they say otherwise mention the false advertising on their website and with that they should then give you the deal

THE SWARM: In The Media
These adverts are doing the job and is really integrating into the public. Many of my friends have started talking about the Swarm with many of my old work mates phoning me up (as they know I like this type of thing) to find out what I know about it.The adverts are adding a great deal of mystery and the teasers don't give anything away just a nice bit of suspense. Thorpe have done extremely well at marketing Swarm this year IMPO. And it's going to be a dead cert that the gate figures will rise up a lot this year to what Thorpe are wanting.

Musicals
A Thanks to Phill Pritchard there for mentioning his tickets to Avenue Q, Which then made me realise they must be on tour and now I have found the venues I will be booking this up soon. When it was showing in London I was obssesed with this show - to the point I actually went to see it with a puppet!Last week I went to see the Rock Of Ages, It's not the best or the worse I have seen but it does rate in my Top 10, and the narrator Ronnie in it is completely hilarious. I still can't get over the fact that Justin Lee Collins is in a musical. However It was still extremely good fun and would recommend it to people. At the end of the month I will be seeing the wizard of oz as Russell Grant is currently playing the wizard of Oz and I can just see him playing it will be hilarious. My favourite West End shows I have seen so far will probably have to be We Will Rock You, Blood Brothers, Avenue Q, Mamma Mia and Oliver.

Chessington General Discussion
I wasn't expecting a new land for 2012. I'm glad it's tied in with their 'adventure' theme and is now another country to explore, continuing with the 3 big lands they want.I'm going to assume flying jumbos has been placed where the good old rodeo used to be, but if the entrance is coming from forbidden kingdom I think it might look a bit tucked away from everything. However with the Safari Experience that might only be temporary if the proposed entrance is behind RamesesQuite looking forward to seeing the changes.I know people here don't like the low investment and I personally too would like to see a new ride come in a bit more often according really the last 2 big things were Kobra and Dragons Fury and how long ago was the latter....(04) but it works, visitors still come and everyone always enjoys themselves here, especially with the family.

Thorpe Park trip plans
Anybody going on Thorpe Friday? My thinking was that weekend will be busy and all enthusiasts are mainly going Thursday so was thinking that Friday will be the quietest for premiere screaming. Anyone else going that day or not?
