  1. The Sea Life Centre is fab though, much better than I thought it was gonna be. Infact, it's the best one out of all Sea Life Centres. Seriously, Brighton's is old and bigger, yes, but Chessie's kicks ass.
  2. No, I'm sad that I have every track possible from all 3 parks on my PDA, Laptop, and a backup CD, just incase I ever lose any off the PDA or Laptop. :)The track I would like to find however, is Bubbleworks' alternate entrance theme. Remember how there 2 during the Burp days?
  3. Sorry to spoil the memories, but for anyone who is interested in when Samurai was removed from Chessington, click here.
  4. Am I right in thinking that Thorpe's entrance theme is the Quantum theme, followed by the normal theme? Because that's what plays at the entrance.
  5. No? Do tell!
  6. Today, I went to Beaulieu Motor Museum for the first time in about 15 years. I really enjoyed it. I love how the monorail goes through the museum!I went on the ride Wheels, all about cars through the years. It's not how I remember it as far as scenes go, yet it's still a classic. It smelt really funny in there, a bit like rubber. Nice smell, but it was nice to get away from it after a while.
  7. Maybe - but you gotta try.
  8. About a month ago I went to the park and queued for Samurai in the Fastrack queue. I didn't have a Fastrack ticket, but I stood there, and when asked if I did have one, I put on the impression "Oh, sorry, I thought this was the single rider queue." As it was only me waiting he let me in for a ride. My plan worked. Remember that guys, if you're on your own and there's a long queue, and you want to eagerly get on, queue in the Fastrack queue and act that you think it's a single rider queue when they ask you for your Fastrack ticket. Wrong, but hey, rules are made to be broken.Anyway, onto single rider queues, and why the hell did Thorpe ever remove them? And as for paying for Fastrack...meh.
  9. Biggest? Maybe back in 1995/96 yes, but not today.Rameses has had it's heyday. It's old, tired, squeals and the throughput is nothing compared to what it used to be. And the ride length is so much shorter than it used to be, good job you don't pay to go on this ride! Think 1995/96 when it first opened. For me, a day at Chessington without a ride is always complete.Look at Ripsaw @ Alton Towers, it's about the same age and is so reliable, looks better, and is still popular today! Plus it's themed better. You're gonna see how much I hate rusty Rameses.
  10. I thought you meant Aerial washing powder then! That's what I said, but it was debated. End of 09 is official.
  11. If they don't want them, send them back to S&S!
  12. Rush's wheels were removed within 12-18months of it opening - so why are the wheels still in storage under Nemesis' station? Why haven't they been sent back to S&S?

Yes, lots!*remembers*Oh yes, they're on frames too!
  14. Theme Park bloke replied to D4n's topic in Alton Towers
It's the only coaster Ive been on that its supports are not underground, but on a frame.
  15. 3 generations of the Fountain Finale? Please, help me! It is nice, but Burp's smell was better, more fruity.I have recently noticed some crappy patchwork on Bubbleworks. Enthusiasts may remember the "Zis way to ze pressure chamber" sign at the beginning, just after the Orange Squash Court. Where this sign was, near a tunnel arch, was painted white during the refurb. Today, the outline of the sign (A3 size) can be seen.
  16. It's an interesting tune!
  17. You could be right - but that's what I've heard about Bubbleworks anyway.
  18. Click here to listen to the old track, or right click to save it. It's about 9 minutes long.
  19. Theme Park bloke replied to D4n's topic in Alton Towers
No, it may be going at the end of 2009.
  20. Has anyone heard the news? We've got just over a year left of the current Bubbleworks. 2010 will see a new Bubbleworks, or possibly the Imperial Leather sponsorship extended.Let's hope the ducks duck off.
  21. But it hasn't - it's the 2007 track you no longer hear.
  22. Last year the park introduced a fresh, catchy track for Zodiac. This year, it's nowhere to be heard and all we hear now is that announcement with the music at the start of the ride. Is the 2007 track coming back?
  23. Yes, right in your bleedin' earhole when you're waiting in the queue.
  24. What is wrong with Tidal Wave and Colossus?I sometimes think it should be called Tidal Rave.
  25. I heard last year that Loggers Leap will be closed for the second half of this season, due to Dylan construction. Is this still the plan?
