The buckets and the tower that holds them are right before the lift into the station. However you might have missed them as the only times I have seen them on (and I go at least twice a year) was my first visit on its opening year and when I went on Tuesday. Do they change the T&C's every year? Because last year I got a discount on a hotdog stall outside the brick brothers shop.

Must of missed that part. Sorry

I went on Tuesday with my friends to renew my annual pass. The park opened at 9:30 but you are allowed in at 9 so after the renewing we waited for 10 minutes until the park opened. First, we went to the Jolly Rocker as its new. Waited 5 minutes for it and I thought it was really good! Made your stomach go really weird. After that we headed over to the Dragon and again, waited 5 minutes. This was good though reminded me a lot of X:|NWO due to its ride; stop; ride; stop; station. Headed back to Pirates landing and queued for Pirate Falls: Dynamite Drench. Wasnt that much different to before the retheme but with a few effects repaired and the dynamite before the drop and the drop pool. Queued 30 minutes for it.Went on spinning spider, queued 10 minutes. Then tried Lokis Labyrinth. Preferred it before Land of the Vikings when it was 3 mazes. Checked on Viking River Splash but it was 30 minutes so we had a wander to the pirate show at the lighthouse. Was quite good but it was hard to tell who was good and who was bad. Had hotdogs for lunch and I got annoyed when I wasnt allowed a Merlin discount because "Its a stall not a restaurant" .Looked at Laser Raiders but it was 2 and 1/2 hours!!! So no. Scarab Bouncers was long. Looked at the train but even that was 30 minutes. Instead we went to look round Miniland. What day would be complete without Fairy Tale Brook so queued 5 minutes for that. Finally at the top of the hill we checked on Viking River Splash and it was walk on! Good to see the buckets are working again but the huge one isn't.Got there at 9, it opened at 9:30 and we had left the car park by 4pm. A good day!

When the person whos driving relies on you to give directions!

Joshua Coupe, have you actually EVER been to Alton Towers. By the sound of it youve only ever been to Chessington and have no idea how different the two parks and their rides are.

I think its the other way around, Fastrack straight up/merge with single rider in the cattle pen?

2011} () Park bring back themed areas: Amity Cove, Lost City, Calypso Quay() Replace M H F Safari with a tropical lake themed Mack Splash Battle Ride called Miss Hippos Ranger Falls. All the park mascots from Fungle Safari are now hidden behind trees and bushes and squirt water at you while the side near Infernos exit path is a crystal clear waterfall (On NI's exit-path-side it just looks like the orangey-brown rock theming).() Loggers Leap's queue-line, station and the flume itself are re-painted to look new.() Slammer is re-themed into Lost City with the Sun God image painted onto the pivot-point and the stripes are painted a cracked light blue to match Colossus and Samurai.() 2 Blipverts are shown on TV: 1) In a field of mushrooms a face appears and while the rest of his body appears he says "Open your mind". 2) The man from the first one is flying through a field of mushrooms in a sitting position and says: "Let it spread". In both Adverts the Thorpe Logo is on every mushroom as a spot (Sort-of Subliminal Messaging).2012} () A final Advert is released: A man stands in a field and says: "Open your mind." He then sniffs the air and as he says "Let it spread through your body", mushrooms and toadstools grow quickly through the earth and suddenly a B&M Wing Rider Car flies through the mushrooms. The man then slowly becomes a mushroom while saying "Become a Spore at THORPE PARK."NEW FOR 2012 - Shroom Forest. The entrance is 2 Mushrooms entangled in each other and other Mushrooms spell out "Shroom Forest". Giant mushrooms and toadstools are placed around the area and are mixed in with trees. The B&M Wing rider dominates the area. Called ''Spore'' the station is themed around a giant, cracked plant pot. The ride includes twists, corkscrews and a pretzel loop.() On the parks on-line pages (Facebook, Twitter ect.) a message says: For a surprise, go to Tidal Wave on (DATE) at (TIME). At the stated time 2 effects on Tidal Wave return but alongside a new effect: The fire goes first, and then the water tower and finally the telephone poles explode with electricity.() Rumba Rapids is drained and closes for Fright Nights along with X:\No Way Out.2013} () Hotel Opens. Clearing begins next door.() An empty warehouse is built in Shroom Forest. Its facade is a old, weathered barn.() Rumba Re-Opens as a 'New Attraction' but called: Vulcan River / Vulcan River Rapids. It continues the Calypso Quay theme. The station booth is repainted to look like a tribal hut. The cars, which are now brown, yellow or orange have the ring back in the middle and seatbelts, pass the rock waterfall effect (again themed like the Inferno Rocks) and into the cave. The mouth of the cave has rocks and ivy and water pours from another rocks. In the cave the water is lit up with orange light for a lava effect. On the walls are cave drawings and random spears and shields are littered about. In the main rapids area the hut has been replaced by many tribal huts built into one of the rocks. New water cannons have been installed under the water so every now-and-then water shoots up like a geyser. The shower hut is now another tribal hut but a large bamboo aqua-duct stretches from this hut to another next to the queue. There are holes in the piping and water spills over the top of it to get riders wet. In the queue-line the supports are painted brown and signs are put up saying: "The Nemesis Tribe ask you to not pollute their lake.” The entrance is themed around a tribal hut as well with straw roofs.()X:\No Way Out opens as 'Upgraded'. The Black pillars billow smoke again, the Entrance has been washed and the inside and bag room have been painted dark blue. The out door queue is fast flowing as groups of 10 people are sent in at intervals of 4 minutes. In the queue a speaker says in the pre-recorded male voice "Welcome to X Technology Labs - The tour will begin shortly." The queue line music for X:\NWO is then played. Once bags have been given in, you walk a short way down the corridor. You walk into a room with closed doors in front of you and two TV screens showing static. When the door behind you closes a video tour starts which after a minute is interrupted by static. LIVE FEED OPEN then appears on the screen and Professor Max appears with a lab behind him. He then tells you a bit about the lab and its purpose of mining the element 'Colostonium'. After about 3-4 minutes he is interrupted and closes the link which goes back to static. The doors open and you continue down the corridor until you reach a set of chrome doors which slide open and you are led into a grey box or The Lift. The doors close and on a panel above the door in front it says "LB - B - G - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4". G is currently lit up. Maxs voice is then heard saying how he is trapped in his lab on the 3rd floor. Lift SFX start and the panel goes from G to 1then to2. On the way he tells you about what went wrong then suddenly on floor 2 the lift stops.l There is a grinding sound and the floor starts to vibrate as the pane goes from 2 to 1,G,B then LB and stops. Max then says the lift is broken and the only way to get to him is through the tour of the centre. More forwards until you come to a room with flashing red lights. The doors in front and behind you close as a female voice says "Security Breach". Max then shouts "Your locked in! I'll try and hack the system!" Suddenly, a container is lit up in the corner that you couldn't see at first. Its front has been smashed and its empty. Then a second tank is lit up. This one contains a robot. Water surrounds it which then starts to drain. Mist then hovers over the floor out of the bottom of the container. The doors then open and Max shouts "Get out of there!". Now just a short walk and up the ramp. At the top of the ramp are coloured circles like on rush. Four are blue with two of them as 1 and the other two as 2. Six red ones are then numbered 1, 2 and 3. You then walk forward. Blue 1 & 2 walk through the furthest fake lift and into the first two rows. Red 1, 2 & 3 enter the station through the nearest fake lift. In the air gates you stand on your colour and number. The train is already in the station and all signs are pointing forwards. There are no indications that you go backwards. After the lap bars close a recording says "Warning. Error in Program. Do Not Proceed.". Max says "Ignore that, now I'm in Lab 11. Good Luck." You then roll backwards out of the station. Ride in the dark until the first stop point. Metallic footprints are then heard and Max says. "Oh no, The tour has failed, the lights have gone out and Security drones are patrolling the area." Riding in darkness again until the second stop. The ugly dolls have been removed and instead an announcement plays saying "Fire detected, Activating Extinguisher" Air Jets then blast from above riders and then back again. On Third stop the computer plays "Switching to manual control." Max:"Yes! Nearly there!" PC: "Computer Deadlocked. Over Ride Failed." Then the rest of the ride. On the final stop just before the turn into the offload Max says "Your nearly here! Let me just.... *Loud Crash* *Metallic Footsteps* No, NO! YOU WONT TAKE ME! GET OFF OF M....... *Static* " You turn into the offload bay and the double doors are labled 'Lab 11'. The old photo desk is know a table ladled with test tubes and beakers ect. Posters, charts and graphs (some torn) plaster the walls and an dark red smear in between black boot marks is set along the floor then dissapears behind an open doorway blocked by pipes and debris fallen from the ceiling. You exit the normal way however its a crack in the wall (The way the drones came through). Down the ramp which now resemble metal grates. Then out through another crack where, to your left, is a boarded up door and straight ahead is a corridor. Down where the battery used to be are now two tubes. One is full of a blue liquid which bubbles while the other is empty but broken. There is a melted hole in the bottom of the plastic shield and a black dribble mark down the panel. This tank is labled 'Colostonium'. You then collect your bags and exit.2014} () Canada Creek Railway is joined back to Thorpe Farms old site which is now 'Adventure Golf'. An extended track then takes the train to THORPE Hotel. Also newly built is THORPE SPLASH, A mixed indoor and outdoor Water park joined to the hotel. Together, the park, water park, golf and hotel make THORPE PARK RESORT.()New for Fright Nights in Shroom Forest "Forest of the Lost". In the once empty barn are now fake trees placed to make a path. The only light is a white light from the moon. Bushes shake, trees creak and shadows whisper and move in the first half of the maze. In the second, bodies are tied to trees or laying on the floor. Some of the tied up scream and make you jump while the ones laying down grab your legs or crawl towards you. Near the end, lumber jacks jump out at you with axes, knives and chainsaws and at the exit a crashed police car averts your attention until a bloody policeman chases you out of the attraction.() SAW Alive closes at the end of the season after Fright Nights. Boards are place around the queue line while its relocated back to Vortex, has its SAW theming removed and then painted red and blue to match the entrance/bridge.2015} () NEW FOR 2015 - Current - An e-Motion Coaster in the area behind Depth Charge/ The Dome, continuing the Neptunes Kingdom theme. The plaza is where the marquee used to be which is accessible from next to Depth Charge entrance or the Flying Fish path. The 'Thrills Workshop' is demolished and relocated to Thorpe Belle for the queue and station. The station is a coral-themed cave and the car starts with a short pre-lift section where effects make you feel underwater as fish swim past and seaweed sways. Then exit the cave and up a vertical lift system. The ride features a few inversions, narrow misses with coral and water effects such as sprays and waterfalls.2016} () Due to the popularity of Atlantis at Legoland and the surprising number of families still visiting TP a sit-down Sealife Centre is placed inbetween Flying Fish and Currents queue. The facade and queue continue the Atlantis and coral reef theme while inside it usual areas eg. Amazonia.

If so, I learnt it in English

I think its supposed to be the Great Wall of China with blue hills in the backround. It covers up the ugly Tomb Blaster building but its still quite cheap looking.

I was looking on ThemeUK and I came across some old pictures from when it was Ribena Rumba Rapids and I never actually realised how differently themed it was to now.I know it looks tatty as the sponsership was removed and that Thunder River was better but it actually looked quite good with the berries:Control HutTunnel Entrance (The On-ride Camera is there too)Part of the insidePhotos from ThemeUK

My first time on this but never again. Its TERRIBLE.I queued 5 minutes and one thing is that it was to dark so you cant really see anything and the pig people kept avoiding us.The best room was the Freezer but the woman didnt do ANYTHING.Probably the highlight of the maze were the staff members at the entrance who were a great bunch and the woman playing the SWAT Team cos she was so serious and I actually thought she was part of the police force!2/10

When I went to Alton Towers on the 16th and 17th I was queueing for Nemesis just after the Fastrack merge point but before entering the station near the turn and loop there was an extended queue but the gates had been welded to the fence and I was just wandering if anyone knew when and why it was closed and where it used to go.Thanks

The one CS I really want is Supports because the original RCT3 ones are terrible and un-realistic.Does anyone have a link for realistic supports?

The Blue Barnacle (Previously Black Buccaneer)
noob230 replied to themeparkmad's topic in Chessington World of Adventures
How can you say that?! I've always seen Black Buccaneer with a 15+ queue. Imo its better than most of the rides there. At the back on full swing you literally leave your seat and you get loads of air-time. Its one of my favourite rides and I will be sad to see it go if Chessington do decide to scrap it. -
It may look more tidal wave-y but remember that thats the water that lands on you and soaks your clothes your hair and the water that you can accidentaly swallow

Heres One (Courtesy of http://www.themeuk.net/ and http://www.chessingtonuk.co.uk/)The full run through can be found under FEATURES and PROFESSOR BURPS

I thought the station and the Tidal Pool floor had a repaint at the 08/09 closed season?
