Favourite Thorpe Park Ride
If Colossus didn't have such uncomfortable trains it could easily be the best, it's length helps
-
Wicker Man
Could it maybe not have anything to do with the film and just be called Wickerman , with a giant wickerman to go with a fabricated towers story similar to hex? That wouldn't be that bad

Fright Nights 2016
They should go back to having fright nights on some non-half term weekdays if it's still consistently jam packed
-
Energylandia
is it that surprising that on a forum dedicated to merlin parks people compare things other parks do to what merlin do intamin!
-
Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Didn't alton get rid of 'don't look down' due to people screaming and noise complaints? (which doesn't stop people screaming if they want) (I only read this on here so forgive me if I'm wrong) sounds like a similar kinda thing

Blackpool Pleasure Beach
I wish this was at a merlin park as Blackpool is the least likely park for me to visit easily but I might have to try extra hard as it looks possibly better than any other uk coaster..

The Smiler Incident 02/06/2015
Not an odd thing at all, you're right, it probably has. Almost like witnessing a car crash

The Smiler Incident 02/06/2015
Extremely uncomfortable to watch/hear.. Also hearing them screaming and enjoying the ride once it's left the lift is quite upsetting when we know it's about to happen..

Possible Expansion
Remember it includes the section behind as well, it's still actually pretty big, you can fit the whole of saw, vortex, zodiac and pizza hut on it it's a shame they can't just fill in the whole lake section surrounding the 2 islands as it would pretty much double the size of the park,

Possible Expansion
Just a thought, with CCR closing and now possibly loggers, the space those two rides and the whole CC section with Rocky express leaves a pretty huge space for a possible coaster, probably the biggest amount of space available since Colossus.. Maybe the more likely location for the next one over the island behind swarm and stealth A Mack or RMC would fit perfectly

Oblivion
Random question, but if I'm right in thinking Oblivion will stop about a 3rd way through the curve at the top of the lift if the next block isn't clear or if there's a breakdown, what stops it when there doesn't seem to be anything on the track at that point?

Paultons Park
Wouldn't that mean they couldn't have built the edge though? Or did this happen after It'd suck if they couldn't build there because that's the only area I could see a more thrilling coaster fitting in
-
Alton Audio
They were playing that in the jelly bean monorail train when I went in june, gave it a really exciting atmosphere
-
'I'm a Celebrity' Maze
Wasn't it closed for fright nights last year anyway?
-
Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
I wonder if they're regretting spending so much on this over a coaster
-
Alton Towers General Discussion
I literally just noticed now that the posts I read were from 2013.. Oops
-
Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
That's not really just lately though, they've had the same problems for like the past 10 years
-
Fright Nights 2016
Are those hedge/bushes new? Don't see why they couldn't have a maze go through there if all Saw's lower parts of tracks are fenced off, the path doesn't look any closer to the tracks then Colossus' pathways are
-
Paultons Park
Do they still have the problem of massive amounts of wasps everywhere? It's been years since I've been
-
Alton Towers General Discussion
Where are the rumours of spinball moving to thorpe coming from? It's perfect at alton
-
Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
It says Thorpe says it's their most expensive ride to date but the article mentions more than once that it's £13m
