Next Big Thing - 2016 Development ?
I've learnt from football WUM's during last summer's transfer window not to trust any 'In the know' on the internet. They may well be in the planning stage, but we should wait and see for more concrete information. In the mean time, I hope everyone's looking forward to next year's Tesco themed Top Spin...

Angry Birds Land
They're metal plates attached to the walls, not stickers. So far we've seen the buildings being re-painted with bits of theming attached to them and some 3D models. If that's all that happens with this area then yes that will be disappointing. But there will be a lot more to come, I'm sure of that. Some things I noticed yesterday were the amount of kids getting excited over the Angry Birds models, wearing Angry Birds clothing and having photos taken with the models/theming on the walls. This project could actually be quite good for the park and is exactly what they need to break into the family market.

Angry Bird's Ministry of Sound Thorpe Park Meet 5th July 2014
I never thought I'd see the names "Angry Birds" and "Ministry of Sound" in the same thread title on a Thorpe Park forum

THE BIG EASTER (Easter Holiday Event)
^ Completely agree with the above, went with family today and we all loved the easter egg hunt. The Brainiac show was great fun too, I'd happily go see it again and it was a nice change from the stunt shows they usually do. Afraid to say I didn't get to see the live act in the dome, although I'm sure I didn't miss much.

Angry Birds Land
You've literally only seen the base colour of the building and some of the models, there's bound to be more theming added yet! The pessimism around this place is unbelievable at times.

Boat ride is pretty average really, nothing to get excited over. Drop ride isn't high at all but it's great fun.

Angry Birds Land
Yeah I'm sure they'll want as much on show as possible for the Easter weekend, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a lot more theming in place over the next few days.

THE BIG EASTER (Easter Holiday Event)
There will be a different live act on each day over the Easter Weekend. Up and coming artists: Prizma, VOIS, Littlejack and Manni. (Thorpe's post about it: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152334802060867&set=a.377923300866.202576.27217550866&type=1&theater )

Well it's clearly not finished yet. They've applied the base colour and "small touches" will be added gradually over the next few weeks.

Next Big Thing - 2016 Development ?
Thorpe had enough coasters for now, and definitely more than enough flat rides/water rides. I just want them to get a super immersive dark ride with a gripping back-story, initiative ideas and excellent theming.

Next Big Thing - 2016 Development ?
They need it to make money for them instantly, to do this they need to attract a whole lot of guests in the first year of opening. Not by waiting for word of mouth in a few years time. A gimmick also helps the marketing team aim their advertising around that gimmick and gives them something to really get people excited about. It's a shame but that is what John Wardley said at the talk.
