Started commuting into London for training this week, never realised how busy the Waterloo and City line can get in the morning!
-
I'm getting to Staines station for 9:22 tomorrow morning, if anyone else wants to meet around that time for bus/split a taxi to thorpe then please let me know
-
Yeah it's because a lot of teachers are striking so some schools are closing, Thorpe are taking advantage of this and have posted an offer for schoolkids on their Facebook page which I'm sure will drum up a lot of interest. That mixed with the good weather tomorrow could be slightly busy!

You found the basement?

Prep for next year
-
Cabin, then Cabin, then Cabin, then Cabin. Repeat this process, seriously, it's that good.
-
if it has the 'Pass' holographic logo on then it is valid ID, if it doesn't display this logo then it's not official form of ID.
-
In stores that operate the 'Think 25 policy', there are clearly adverts/signs up at the entrance of the store and at the areas containing the age restricted products. There's no need to take it personally, the cashier clearly thought you look under 25 (which you do) so they asked to check for your ID, it's not meant as an insult, just a procedure that they have to go by.

I'm pretty sure the incredible woodland theming section was the first door on the left in the first room, Jack may correct me though. But this bit was brilliant, you had to duck under and in between trees to get through with an actor going for you.
-
Really unfair to compare them when you look at the budget difference, with the budget Thorpe had the mazes were excellent. The level of theming in MBV and Cabin was absolutely fantastic.
-
Not really, there were so many doors we went through, just remember to keep an eye out for secret hidden doors that blend into the wallpaper.
-
Screen shows people in the maze then there's buttons that you can press to control lights, smoke etc in the maze.
-
I'd prefer more roaming actors/smoke/lighting than some tacky theming (the budget won't be big enough for decent theming). If they improve on the atmosphere and bring in more roaming actors that were actually intimidating then that would be great.

It was definitely the best Fright Nights I've done, I just want to re-do Cabin In The Woods again and again to do all the different routes
-
Spoilers Quick review... Cabin In The Woods was absolutely fantastic, managed to find the control room and controlled parts of the maze. My Bloody Valentine was very good (theming was brilliant) Asylum was same old stuff, as was Saw Alive. You're Next actors were fairly crap and there weren't enough of them. Blair Witch... The less said about that the better, it's basically walking down a countrylane into a shed straight from Homebase with a few actors doing nothing

Anyone able to help me out with a lift from Staines station to the park for the evening part, I will pay?
-
MERMAN OR UNICORN PLEASE
-
So I'm expecting you walk through that entrance tunnel (which will be the mountain tunnel), get briefed at this point possibly and then told to enter the cabin in front of you, round the corner from this entrance tunnel? Makes a lot of sense and could be very interesting if executed properly.
-
Somehow I completely forgot about that! That's brilliant news, should be great
-
To be fair, putting up signage, clearing outside Asylum and painting Asylum exit could take a day maximum. Queue lines will just be the typical Fright Nights temp metal fences which are easy to put up. Not sure about Blair Witch though, should be fine!
-
That was the quote I was looking for! I'm sure they said something along those lines but couldn't remember where it was and if I had just made it up
-
If they actually have created the Cabin inside this entrance bit then fair play to them and I'll take my comments back!
