General Public do have annual passes too! It depends how they do it really, if it is the same weekend as the Chessington pass weekend and you can't bring mates for a fiver then it'll be alright.

Recently I've been reading a few articles from Theme Park Tourist (https://www.facebook.com/ThemeParkTourist?fref=ts ) and they've been really interesting reads. That got me thinking, there's a lot of people on here who have creative ideas and are good at writing blog posts, so why don't we have something similar on TPM? I'm sure a few people would be up for writing articles for TPM, they wouldn't specifically have to be Thorpe related, but could be about any Theme Park news/views. I know we have the 'blogs' system, but this could be something seperate that could go on the TPM website, it would definitely get more people using the website as well as the forums and could even bring more members on board if these articles are posted on our Facebook page. We could have people writing about what rides they'd like to see at parks, the future of the theme park industry etc. I think it'd be really interesting and we'd get some cracking articles. Just an idea I had, thoughts?

Last day of the 2013 season, music turned right up, smoke on full blast and no lights (just lasers) was the best ride on X I've ever had.

That being a weekday should mean it's fairly quiet.

Thorpe Park have confirmed via comments on their Facebook page that this years Annual Pass day will be both Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th March.

Pretty sweet, supporting Arctic Monkeys on tour soon and debut album should be out in August.

Got stuck on front row of Colossus before just going up the lift hill in pouring rain. That really wasn't fun! Also experienced break downs on Hulk and Bubbleworks.

Saw Frozen for the first time yesterday, and again today, maybe even again tomorrow

It's almost halfway through february and we haven't really seen much have we Wonder when concept art/construction images for new hotel/angry birds/anything else added will be shown.

Now we just need the best ride in the park to get a shop, X,

Perhaps Thorpe were too quick to secure the rights for an Angry Birds land, they should've waited and gone for the more appropriate Flappy Bird game land.

You Me At Six (creators of The Swarm song) are releasing their new album tomorrow, it's currently out on iTunes now. I got a copy early because I pre-ordered and it's actually a fantastic album, very different vibe to their older stuff but it works very well. Especially check out 'Room to Breathe', 'Cold Night' and 'Win Some, Lose Some'.
