TBF the condition it was in, I was surprised people really thought it would be saved, especially in the last 3 years or so. The costs to refurbish it would have been astronomical! A new coaster from a cheap manufacture would probably be cheaper. -

I don't get the fuss behind Helix TBH, I was hugely disappointed with it after YEARS of people banging on about it. The launches were naff, the airtime wasn't half as much as expected, the restraint dug into my leg more and more as I went through (Icon and Blue Fire doesn't do this as bad), and the whole thing rattled and was not as smooth as it should have been. That added with numerous technical issues made for a not so pleasant time with it. I know i'm in minority, so no need for backlash. I am however entitled to my opinion. Odd considering I like Icon!

I agree regarding the ride vehicle, it is very bulky and certainly looks tight for eight people. Hopefully it will be roomier than it looks.

This is not good. As much as it was annoying only being able to do attractions once, they still generated queues. I guess they will also up sell more fast track on the night leading those queues to get long as well. Could well be disastrous on some of the busier nights, with queues potentially very long, will have to see I guess.

It didn't get much custom as it looked like it was part of the marquee and only swarm was in that direction. They should have just moved it to a more central location.

Actually StevenVig I have a friend with a brother who is 28 and has autism and going on children's rides that he can fit in calms him and he finds it enjoyable. So there are people who go on children's rides as grown ups. And although I've never been one for creds it's a theme park forum for crying out loud so there's probably a large proportion on here who do! 🤦♂️

Someone saw someone with a pot of paint, doubt it's anything much. The brown fences are probably continuing to be repainted as some of those were touched up a little towards the end of closed season. What upsets me is the care for the boats (and other ride vehicles in closed season), they just get left in the outside vulnerable to all sorts of weather. If this park actually bothered covering ride vehicles they wouldn't be in their awful aesthetic condition.

I am one that does love Millenium Force, my second favourite ride on park. It does have airtime, yet people say it doesn't and it just flies around most of the course, which is what I love. That soundtrack however, bloody annoying!
