Park Operations
Just because two places are owned by the same company doesn't mean they are run the same. Take J D Weatherspoons and Lloyd's No. 1, owned by the same company and couldn't be anymore different. One is a pub which has no music the other is more 'club' like and has music.

Anttix Live
Thorpe Park have released another live band performance in the dome, Anttix. This is a free event included in the ticket (I'm assuming this apply's to Annual Pass holders as well). Whilst I'm sure I'm not the only one who has never heard of this band (or single player judging by one the videos I have watched. On stage 4pm - 6pm. This is one of the tracks he(they) play: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kk2pxAAgJSc

What I was more gettin at is the difference between an investment and development. People keep saying 'the park will no lifer receive development because one investment has been moved'. Development in a theme park is taking something you have and developing it into something new or regenerating the original. For instance - the park did a bit of development on some buildings - a lick of paint, they developed something old into something new. Development - where the park will pump money into the park on what they have. Investment is buying some new to bring in the guests. For instance last year they received The Swarm, a £20m investment. If we took these two different words into The Swarm it would go: 2012 - £20m investment 2013 - (don't know how much it cost) development. They developed the product they had to give it a different edge. At the end of the day, the park won't stop receiving development or investment because they decided the better thing to do is to delay there next big thing a couple of years. I'd like to think of it more as, this way the parks more likely to go through a phase of development rather than massive investment. If they want to spend the next 3/4 years developing the park, we may see major spruce ups to the park making the park look less like a cesspit and more like a theme park! I would rather them work on what they have a take a slow train to the next big thing than let he rest of the park go further into the landfill. That's just my take on it anyway.

Crash Pad Extension
I think people need to step back and look at the bigger picture, the budget they have are whittled down in departments and the £9m is the budget that is soaked up by The Crash Pad as investment not development. Take 2013 for example, they splashed out on development on both X and The Swarm but still decided to give nearly every building on site a lick of paint. Even decided to fix some scenery across the park (albeit some no longer work, again) they still are spending money on development. I'm certain they won't just stop developing until the next big coaster.

Not necessarily doing bad, they are actually doing rather well as it happens. What I think it is more likely to be is, they want their new Roller Coaster to open with the new hotel as I can only assume they want the next coaster to be bigger and better than ever that they hope many people will flock to the park which needs a bigger and more comfortable hotel.

Well I for one don't find nemesis 'all that it's cracked up to be'.

Cinecittà World
Maybe they wanted to keep some originality in it But this version looks so much better than Colossus and it's only half built! Like Alex said, I'm excited to see what the trains will look like

Cinecittà World
So, the new movie themed park is well under way now! I know it's a little late but here are some photos from May 2013, showing the newer style Colossus taking shape: Looking Similar: New style of drop: Moving on to June 2013 now: And for some reason the final inversion is through a tunnel I've got to say, the new style of the clone is much more pleasing to look at, the inlines seem much more open with a fraction of the supports and I can only assume that to be down to the tri-railed track making it strong? Or Intamin realised it looked somewhat ugly to have a support every 5 foot! Photos used from TheParks.it, the rest of th construction galllery can be found here: http://www.theparks.it/cinecitta-world-p1147/avanzamento-lavori-giugno-2013-pt595/

With TP's stop and search your only held up a minute or two as there is a lot of security doing the searches, at least 8 I counted on my last visit.

Summer Nights
I doubt it would be that expensive for 6 attractions, I'd be somewhat shocked if I was asked to pay £30 for 6 rides! Id expect MoS type tickets, where it's £15 for entry. Which usually only covers 4/5 rides, but then they make their money on the alcohol after wards!

Sonic Spinball Relocation to Thorpe Park
This post from yourself says you can see a brightly coloured distraction ruining the view of the gothic mansion? When I'm stood at the entrance I hear no noise other than the entrance music and all I see is towers street centering the towers.
