  1. I swear they are in every Burger King now, (except TP, Service stations, etc) All the ones in my area have them.

To be fair, Tidal's trough gets repainted every year

I think if they were building a new one they would have done it over closed season as the ride would have to close for probably at least a week to build a new one! Which is a massive shame really, even if the old roof had so many holes in it you were practically outside anyway...

I rode it that day too, it opened for about 45 minutes around 1pm roughly? After being stuck upside for a while In other news, is Slammer still Slamming or has it died yet?
  5. Well then you should of known that Trilogy doesn't apply to the SAW films
  6. The correct word for the seven films is 'Heptalogy' ranging from 2004 to 2010. Trilogy means three, for example: Tricycle - 3 wheeled bicycle -bicycle meaning two wheels Tripod - 3 legs Triangle - 3 sided shape Trilogy - a 3 part series (film, book etc leading into Quadrilogy (four)) Triple - Multiples of 3 (3,6,9,12 and so on)
  7. They have not been around long enough to warrant a movie.
  8. This Seagull says hi...

I think one of the issues may be that Samurai is one of the very few that actually are programmed with cycles. Most of (if not all) the travelling ones are all driven manually by the operator who have years of experience with it.

In America it's quite normal to have billboards in the most random places, I know this is England but it's not totally unheard of! And personally It hasn't been picked up and dumped there by The Swarm, it just decided it slam through it! Has anyone every seen that Family Guy episode?

New for 2021 - The Smiler.

It tends to be the motor causing the issue, no matter what setting your on the ride motor can't position itself correctly. It's already been said that you can fix the problem but as soon as you put people on the ride it's back to the same old same old.

Now that is a rookie mistake!! Luckily none of the rides and attractions I've been on (with the exception of The Swarm Backwards first time) have ever giving me any nausea!

Well whilst trying not to go off topic, but this year Slammers cycles have somehow been even more prolonged. the average cycle lasts between 5 to 6 minutes, with a cycle being sent on average every 9 minutes minutes so from start to finish it takes almost 15 minutes to send a cycle. Possible cycle(s) per hour is 4 or 5 which is around 192/240 maximum (fully loaded) - as there is only ever about 10 people on the ride they rarely scrap 100 people an hour! Anyway's back onto X, I am somewhat looking forward to what ever they have done with it, anything would be an improvement on the decaying ride!
  17. It was always like that I believe, because the beginning of the track has about 3-4 seconds of pure bass rather than that track itself.

Is this a competition of how slow can they build a ride? They seem to install an inversion every other week. Still no sign of either lifts despite them building the centre of the ride :S

On 4 trains it can manage about 700 pph on 5 not much more really. I think the highest its ever had just scraped 800 there about's. Not great but then again, when you compare to Slammers 150pph it's not awful!

I think when it moved to Thorpe it did go to Mondial to get a full refurbishment because Chessington obliterated it or something
  21. Ricky replied to daboywunda's topic in The Past
Yes I did, and every time I have stood it I have waited no longer than 20 minutes.
  22. Ricky replied to daboywunda's topic in The Past
It has long queues? Even a full queue moves incredibly quick!
  23. Ricky replied to Artie's topic in The Past

Yeah, isn't Hex still being a b*tch parking?
  25. To be fair.... it probably would of cost just as much to repair than to remove (if not more). It's not as though every year TP fix the tunnel, there isn't an annual budget for Loggers tunnel, so in fact they spent some of that fixing up budget making something worse... Annoyance. I never did like the smell of the tunnel though.
