  1. You say that but you wanted this forum to be more serious so that was basically just bait.Talent shows in my eyes are an already outdated system for finding new artists. Social networking sites and others like bandcamp.com do a much better job. Judging people by one song/performance is ridiculous. It's like only listening to one song on an album. And I bet you that Cowell royally screws over most of the winners in their contracts.
  2. Oh god, more crabs.Yeah, most Germans I have encountered are pretty picky with their language and normally just switch over to English.
  3. Thinking about it, it would be more accurate if you replaced the cow with Johnny Depp. Oh you have to feed him $55 million per movie though.
  4. Ohgod the mermaid/ priest couple. Apparently they want to make 2 more films. Pass.
  5. Despicable Me is amazing. Attack the Block is amazing. Pirates 4 is a cash cow. That's all folks!
  6. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to be ruled over Simon Cowell and whoever else judges it now. Plus, some of the public decisions really do make me question society.

It's going up. It was £130 at one point. Sunday tickets are the most expensive and Friday tickets are the cheapest. Not big surprise.

Reading weekend tickets are £150 at the moment on the resale site. Just remember to factor in costs of tent, food, clothes getting destroyed, etc.

    Doctor Who

Ah that was good. Makes up for that pretty terrible pirate one.Mikey, do you know what the music playing was called when
  10. It's got the stage where I think Alton needs a solid coaster just so not everything in the park is a flipping gimmick. It's a bit hard to judge the general experience of an invert to the general experience of a floorless when there are both stronger and weaker examples of each.

I thought it may be interesting to see what tpm members would like played in and think would suit XNWO.
  12. Also, parks tend to bolster up their cost figures of a new ride as it makes for good PR: there is some correlation in the GP's eyes with cost and quality.
  13. I'd like the next coaster to be a woodie but that just won't happen with AT relying on surveys. A B&M Floorless could be marketed as a UK first and actually allow for a good layout ala Nemesis.

A journey which should be just over an hour from London to my house took over 4 hours last night and I still managed to have fun. The football supporters turned the tubes into lad central unsurprising.
  15. My family said they were 'Disneyed out' when we were in LA. Shame really as going to the original park would have been cool in itself and Matterhorn and California Screamin' look very fun exclusive rides.

    Video Games.

Call of Duty is just Activision's cash cow now that they have milked Guitar Hero to death. The sad thing is that it will probably survive for a long time seeing how strong the genre is as a whole.
  17. Sheep being a mod can only lead to good things. Really pleased about this choice.
  18. Nothing can be thrown at this ride to ruin it. Flawless.
  19. That used to be the case when the ride opened, however some soundtracks just weren't run at points. Whether this has been fixed I don't know. Yeah, the light shows are a lot better than the cutout scenes at Florida in my opinion (though there have been maintenance issues with the lights in Paris as well). Each limo has an individual license plate which is supposed to indicate it's track.
  20. Rock N Rollercoaster is supposed to have a 48 hour playlist in the plaza/outdoor queue but I remember Don't wanna miss a thing looping as well. Odd. The ride actually has 5 different soundtracks and pre launch messages but some are played much less often. I think I got walk this way/ love in a elevator most of the time.Tower of Terror is stunning. Even the bellhops go above the call of duty and the entire experience perfectly balances scary with cheesy, the highlight for me being the corridor before the drop.I sadly didn't get to see Fantasmic as the rest of the family didn't fancy dealing with the hassle of it.
  21. The ride stops at set block brakes to allow more trains to be run safely than otherwise possible.
  22. Orlando really is a rabbit hole, which is both a good and bad thing. The post holiday blues suck but some people who live/work there seem to go a bit mad.
