  1. Bloody hell that old station themeing looks immense! They could do alot with the current statation by just adding a few more cobwebs and lights around the place, thats pretty vague, but it would be nice to see a station like that return to vampire!
  2. lol well I guess its oright if you're next to it, it has no queue and you just think yeak why not Just in one of them moodsI just find it bad enough walking round thorpe cold from the rain let alone drenching from tidal water!
  3. Tidal Waves only enjoyable on hot days, I see no point in riding tidal on a wet day, you'll just stay soaking all day
  4. Today Trip Report- Really enjoyed today! One of my best there!Park was pretty busy! But as ususal theres always the times in the day when queues die down, quite a few school trips so queues did go down quite a lot nearer the end of the day when they left.Queue times- Or from what I saw the average(longest- shortest from what I saw)Saw-70 mins-45 minsColossus-60 mins-10 minsStealth- 60 mins- 10 minsNemesis- 40 mins- 5 minsX- Seemed fairly quiet all day, about 20 mins maxWater rides- Busier than I thought they'd be considering the weather, excluding tidal waveSlammer-30 mins- 10 minsRush- 50 mins- 10 minsVortex- 50 mins- 5 minsDetonator- 20 mins- 5 minsSamurai- looked about 20 mins all dayDidn't arrive till late so wasn't aware of the earlier queue times, as I say queues did drop significantly on almost everything for parts of the day, especially the end.Ride Count-Saw-1Colossus-1Nemesis-2Stealth-2X-1Rush-1Slammer-1Detonator-1Vortex-1Zodiac-1Rumba-1Meh can never know if I have the full lot but who cares. Longest queued was about 70 mins for Saw, part from that didn't really queue over 30 mins for anything, apart from slammer which seemed to be taking forever to load, plus a maintenance check before we got loaded. Didn't actually see one breakdown today from what I saw, and I'm pretty sure everything was open.
  5. Anyone fancy a trip to thorpe tomoz?
  6. Lol over 2 years here! And it has seeminlgly changed a lot in the time I've been on.

  8. Phyciodes replied to Cringle's topic in Nonsense
Ahh I'll answer both questions ;)A little bit of exercise lol and friendsand... Piers Morgan or Louis Walsh?
  9. Its the trim brakes lol, on Saw. And if you don't know what they are there the block brake type things in the middle of the outdoor section of the ride before the dive loop.
  10. Phyciodes replied to Cringle's topic in Nonsense
    NemesisJamie Oliver or Gordan Ramsey?
  11. The main problem for me is just general common sense, some people really should think before posting Some questions either can't be answered or just have obvious answers. I'm not directing this post at any specific person, I just find some of the posts on this forum have just not been thought about and can match up to some of the comments in the topic "stupidest things you've heard at thorpe park"
  12. Phyciodes replied to Cringle's topic in Nonsense
Well neither can match up to Sir Alan! Nick and Margaret seem similar to me, il go with Margaret thoughTinchy Stryder or Dappy in the song Number 1?
  13. Somehow I don't think the merlin manager would need a merlin anuall pass
  14. He's reffering to the WHOLE track lol, and yeah they can only let the next two cars go after the cars before have reached a certain point.
  15. You do get the actors in the cage right next to you when you walk by if their there which the main queue doesn't get in quite the same way. Personally I see the rifles as a great way of cooling down

  17. Meh the queue line themeing didn't do much for me, well not out side of the warehouse anyway. Fastrackers don't miss much, well apart from a queue.
  18. I remember on my trip with the europen coaster club in 2007 using the SR for nemesis which went up the exit, we were given a wristband from a member of staff walking down the exit but not sure if this happened reguarlrly. It did clog up the exit though! So I guess its a good thing they dont have it anymore.
  19. I guess its because Stealth is still thorpes icon coaster and is the ride that make me people go "wow" when they see it, tallest and fastest and saw is ofcourse the new ride based on saw films. Sort of stand in a different league to the rest
  20. Yeah whatever Doesn't look like anything majors happened with saw lataely. Infact I can't remember the last day it was down for a full day! Really good!
  21. The front are fine its the back which is the problem, infact the back seem to come of worse in the inital splash as well. If its a hot day I'm more than happy to get wet the twice but it can be annoying if it aint that hot and youve just gone on for the hell of it
  22. Phyciodes replied to a post in a topic in The Future
Saw queue moves quickly providing there aren't any break downs, maintenance checks and the train before is always at the top of the chainlift when the train before has hit the braks ( 8 cars) which isn't always the case I think we all love the fact and assume the queue line will move quick because theres always cars going along the track without any brakes, remembering though that each saw car only holds 8 people ( a lot of the time less people are on board) whilst the inferno and Colossus's cars can hold 4 times as many, well almost. The initial having 8 cars rather than 6 made it seem as if it were moving a hell of a lot quicker but I think had we had 8 cars to begin with everyone wouldn't be so happy about the speed the queue moves.
  23. From what I know its to do with evacuation purposes rather than anything else.
