  1. Meh the queue line themeing didn't do much for me, well not out side of the warehouse anyway. Fastrackers don't miss much, well apart from a queue.
  2. I remember on my trip with the europen coaster club in 2007 using the SR for nemesis which went up the exit, we were given a wristband from a member of staff walking down the exit but not sure if this happened reguarlrly. It did clog up the exit though! So I guess its a good thing they dont have it anymore.
  3. I guess its because Stealth is still thorpes icon coaster and is the ride that make me people go "wow" when they see it, tallest and fastest and saw is ofcourse the new ride based on saw films. Sort of stand in a different league to the rest
  4. Yeah whatever Doesn't look like anything majors happened with saw lataely. Infact I can't remember the last day it was down for a full day! Really good!
  5. The front are fine its the back which is the problem, infact the back seem to come of worse in the inital splash as well. If its a hot day I'm more than happy to get wet the twice but it can be annoying if it aint that hot and youve just gone on for the hell of it
  6. Saw queue moves quickly providing there aren't any break downs, maintenance checks and the train before is always at the top of the chainlift when the train before has hit the braks ( 8 cars) which isn't always the case I think we all love the fact and assume the queue line will move quick because theres always cars going along the track without any brakes, remembering though that each saw car only holds 8 people ( a lot of the time less people are on board) whilst the inferno and Colossus's cars can hold 4 times as many, well almost. The initial having 8 cars rather than 6 made it seem as if it were moving a hell of a lot quicker but I think had we had 8 cars to begin with everyone wouldn't be so happy about the speed the queue moves.
  7. From what I know its to do with evacuation purposes rather than anything else.
  8. I guarantee Susan Boyle will get a recording contract!
  9. Some of the queues may look long but not actually take long to queue, for example nemesis queue line moves quickly. Anyway at the end of the day you may as well queue something
  10. If that skies been edited then so has the queue line
  11. Any of you been looking out the window in the last week? Blue skies! England is perfectly capable of having skies such as this and that photo hasn't been edited.
  12. Whenevr I've been lately lots of the rides definetely clear out at the end of the day! Its silly to say rides are packed all day, because... there not. Rides such as Stealth and Nemesis for example are always a lot quieter towards the start of the day whilst Saw and Colossus are busy, this seems to even out around mid-day and the last few visits I've had including bank holiday monday there have been points in the day where Colossus is near enough walk on. Rush always seems to be a lot quieter towards the end of the day and I've even managed to go round and ride it about 3 times in the space of 5 minutes on relatively busy days. Its all about planning your day which definetely effects it. Rides like Saw will proberly stay busyish unless of a shut down all day because well its new.
  13. That queue line would never be so full if the clouds were grey
  14. Now that is true. The problem is Saw always seems to brake down whilst I'm in the Samurai queue after a few minutes of watching it. Tbh as long as their despatching the ride right and running it quickly and effiecently I dont mind, its when their understaffed, taking ages and wasting time that pisses me off.Rush I think is the only flat ride queue which seems to move at a decent speed for most the time.
  15. oh god Samurai is a horrible queue to queue! Takes a ridiculous amount of time to move!
  16. Brightons all the way down south though, its a lot easier from london
  17. If your planning on going by train then you can get a direct train to Stoke on Trent from London Euston which varies in time, quicker trains can take only 1:30 hours! Then theres a bus from there to the park which I believe takes about 30 mins or so. So very quick journey by train! Car will most probs take longer
  18. It doesn't make a difference to the actual ride but it looks a hell of a lot better from a spectators point of view!
  19. I rarely see the drop with water tbh
  20. They don't film everyone though unfortunaetly, well not last time I checked. So if you can see your video playing you've been filmed, if not it proberly means you haven't.
  21. Yeah they had it running about a week and a half back when I went so it shows they can run it. Its proberly for scenery and effect tbh, really does look a lot better when it is running!
  22. LOL YEP! And then she seemd to be happy as f**k when they annoucned the winner and was back to her normal strange self ;)Tbh theres not a chance in hell that will be the end of Susan Boyle and now the whole world has apparently "fallen in love with her" she'll defo be getting signed up quickly! Diversity were amazing tonight and Susan was a real great sport to them! Good on both of them!
  23. Its bloody annoying when they don't load fast enough and the attendants only letting people through the chain when the train has arrived and the gates are opening, seriously slows down the procedure!
